in order to NOT WAKE THE BABIES!
I need to get away from the computer, where the eBay demon tempts me with opportunities to purchase Little People.
What quiet things can I do?
(no, I cannot do that quietly, think of something else)

Read a book.
WHAT??!
Could you hunt Waskly Wabbits?
Ahahahahaha.
Well, you could do yourself a huge long-term favor and not be quite so quiet while the babies are sleeping; this will teach them to sleep through some noise, so later, when the occasion arises, they will be able to sleep other places. I realize this doesn’t quite answer the question you asked, but hey, this is the IMHO forum.
Okay, I just checked, and this isn’t IMHO. Teach me to go mouthing off! :smack:
tee-hee
Of course you’re right about not keeping the place silent, but there’s lots of days when I’m not up to testing those waters.
I think I’m just getting loopy from being a SAHM, a new experience for me. Not being loopy, the SAHM part. Loopy is nothing new.
Yeah, we did this when our son was a baby. Now he could sleep through a demolition derby. My wife literally cannot wake him up in the morning without throwing things at him.
