Any other fans of WNG at the Dope?

They finally filmed an announcement yesterday, although the news has been up on their website for a while.

But yay! I loved WNG from the first episode, and I can’t wait to see what they’ll do with a higher budget etc…
I have been wondering a couple of things though: I assume the series will be postponed til after the writer’s strike, which sucks, but also, how’ll they handle the transition from youtube to TV? Will they pick up where they left off, making it pretty complicated for new watchers or just start from the base concept again, potentially alienating their original fans? I also hope they keep the three core actors, whom I love.

Any thoughts?

I thought Girlfriends was resting comfortably on People of Color Night on the CW. Do you think it could stand the competition away from its current gentle, low expectation network, as you are demanding?
