We Will Rock You: Great Show!

We live in Las Vegas and finally got around to going to see We WIll Rock You at the Paris Hotel. Didn’t know quite what to expect, other than a lot of music from Queen, but the show was great! Great music, fantastic sets and sound system, and the show was actually very funny as well.
(No, I have nothing to do with the Paris Hotel, the show nor do I know anyone in the cast.)

So was it a musical concert, or a play that incorporates some songs from Queen, or what?

It is a musical that incorporates lots of Queen songs into a story set in the future where Rock and Roll is outlawed. Granted, the story isn’t Shakespeare, but it is entertaining enough, and funny enough, to use as a thread so they have an excuse to play the music of Queen throughout.

Sounds like a fun show. If by some freak chance I end up in Vegas while the musical is still running, I’ll look into buying a ticket.

No, it’s just that Vegas isn’t a place I’d go out of my way to see. The buffets sound appetizing, and the shows sound fun, but gambling isn’t really my thing. Still, if I won a trip or some such thing, it is a show I’d look into. I like Queen and turn their tunes up all the way to 11 when they come on the radio :cool: .

Also, I’m 19 and quite strapped for cash at any moment. Tickets would have to be cheap, cheap, cheap.

Yes.

As far as “cheap” tickets - all seats are $49.50 at the Sunday matinee (when we went) which is quite a bit cheaper than normal.
