I was watching GSN today, and saw an episode from 2001 of the Weakest Link, in which TV child stars… um, starred. Outside of Dustin Diamond and Alfonso Ribeiro, I was unfamiliar with almost everyone on the show, so I IMDBed it afterwards. I was rooting for Danica McKellar not to get kicked off because I thought she was really cute, but I didn’t know who she was; unfortunately, she was gone within the first 20 minutes.
Anyway, after having researched it, I discovered she was WINNIE COOPER! I couldn’t believe it; I always wondered why we were supposed to think that Kevin was so madly in love with her when, IMHO, she looked average or below average. I now understand why; Kevin Arnold knew that she’d blossom later in life.
I’m in totally in love with her now.
(Also, as for the show itself, I didn’t see the ending, but what I saw was pitiful. “Carlton” didn’t know the 24th letter of the alphabet. “Screech” thought that the most populated city in the world was China. I can’t think of many other examples, but it was mostly more of the same; Keshia Knight Pulliam [Rudy from The Cosby Show] was the only one who seem to have any functioning brain cells.)
