Wearing the same outfit (but not the same clothes) everyday

I bathe every morning. (ok, not this morning, but I did shower late yesterday afternoon)

I wear the same set of work pants Monday - Wednesday, and another set Thursday and Friday. Sometimes it’s M,T then Wed-Fri.

I work in an office, and don’t sweat much, nor get them dirty, so I see no need to wash them every day.

I do change my shirt daily.

If I noticed the SAME clothes on someone, day after day, I’d probably ask… if I knew them well enough.

If you don’t bathe, people notice quickly. I had a cube-mate who was particularly stinky, though it’s unclear if that was a lack of bathing, or some other hygeine issue.

I wear very similar clothes everyday and some may thing they’re the same. I have seven black button down, three quarter length shirts. Four of them are the exact same brand and make. I pair them with my two black skirts, grey plaid skirt, black capris, and jeans skirt. And I always have great shoes.

I stayed for a while with a friend who had purchased around 7 or 8 outfits consisting of pants and a loose button-down top in some kind of silky fabric. They were all identical except for color. She wore one of them every day I saw her, which was almost daily for 6 months, unless she was going to church or some formal occasion. She said she just didn’t really care about clothes that much any more.

Yep, another one for the overweight need to find stuff to wear. I just buy a few of the same stuff, in a few different colors if possible (blue, black, gray) and I’m sorted

Right now I’m in particularly bad shape, though. Lost a lot of weight (130lbs?) and so all my old gear isn’t hanging on too well anymore. I’ve got to buy new clothes in a hurry! I’m confined until I go shopping to two outfits of the same color that fit in a decent way. I’m pretty sure everybody thinks I’m wearing the same stuff everyday, but I don’t care much.

I am clean, I feel a lot better, and I look all right. If someone can’t guess at some reasonable explanation that I might be doing this, or of some reason that perhaps makes it less gross (see: washing machine) then I am probably not going to find that person very useful.

I hardly notice dress anyway, focusing more on attitude.

Probably going to still buy clothes this way, despite it becoming less necessary.

I’m slightly color-blind, and more accurately color-deaf – I have no sense for what clashes.

For work I wear either blue or black 501 Levis, and T-shirts (white, black, dark blue or gray). Dull, but acceptable. And besides, they don’t pay me to look good.

A colleague I lift and run with wears the same work clothes every day — we call him ‘Gunny’.

There’s a reporter at the paper where I used to work( I only mention his occupation because he is somewhat well known and therefore a little more visible) who wears white / off white pants and a black shirt. EVERY DAY. Not necessarily the same garments, but the same color combo. And yeah, it was definitely noticed and commented on (at least by me and my friends). “Oh look, there’s Zucco in his uniform…”

I can’t imagine we were the only ones to notice it. Yet, he was what came closest to the company heartthrob, so apparently it didn’t lower his “hunk quotient”.

I do this and I wonder what people think of me for doing it. I have a large frame and I like loose clothing so I have trouble finding shirts that fit. I can wear a 2xlt, but I prefer loose shirts so I wear 5x or 6x and the selection of these isn’t too great. Plus I dont like flashy shirts or shirts with advertisements on them, and Ijust prefer cotton short sleeve shirts so I have about 5 or 6 5x and 6x blue shirts, 2-3 black 5x-6x shirts and one white 6x shirt.

Some people compliment me on it, i’m sure the people who think i’m an idiot keep it to themselves though.

Steve Jobs is another who takes his sartorial style from the Brundle/Einstein school. He’s been wearing the black mock turtleneck and blue jeans for five or six years now.

A friend of mine is very fond of khaki pants and light-blue dress shirts. He doesn’t wear them exclusively, but often enough to make it clear that clothes aren’t a big deal for him.

I kinda wear the same outfit every day. It usually consists of a skirt that hits me just above the knee (or slacks, but in the summer, usually just the skirts) and some kind of blouse (usually a v-neck rayon type thing). I just have a weird type of body that only looks good in certain styles of clothing. I look horrible in dresses (I’ve got a little tummy and thick waist that dresses do nothing but highlight) and have a few flaws that are easily covered by my “uniform”. The skirts/blouses are all different styles and colors but the skirt/blouse combo doesn’t usually change.

For casual wear it’s always: v-neck t-shirt, jeans/shorts and flip-flops. My S.O’s X was a total clothes horse and sometimes he just looks at me in astonishment for wearing the same style of clothing day after day. What can I say? If you find something that works, go with it.

Longer than that.

I think lots of guys tend to wear the same thing, in my SO’s case its the chino and white button down uniform with clogs. Pants are tan, navy or black, shirts are white, blue or gray. casual fridays during the summet it is the good jeans ( no oil stains or rips) and an obnoxious Hawaiian shirt.
I too like the uniform, I seem to always buy the same style of pants, side zip pocketless stretch paired with untucked oxford shirt, colors vary. Yeah we could be twins. though I have more shoes than he. WHen I have to I can throw a blazer over it all and look more corporate.

I wear a suit to work every day and so do all my co-workers. Most of us go with the traditional black suit, white dress shirt combination. There is a good mixing of gray and blue suits though. I have roughly 20 work suits, about 12 are black, maybe 5 blue, and the other 3 are gray.

The tie changes every day, I have about 60 ties (ties are an extremely common gift when you’re considered “hard to shop for” which I don’t understand because I’m a polite person and have never once shown anything but happiness and gratitude for any gift I’ve ever been given) so I have a big rotation.
