Some time ago, I posted this thread about weather programs that don’t use the standard Weather Channel / NOAA data (which is thoroughly inadequate for where I live). Nothing conclusive emerged…
I’ve just discovered Weather Exchange, which provides feeds from amateur recordings. OK, so the potential problems of this are obvious. But I’ve now got feedings from somebody half-a-mile away from me, and several more before I get to anything the Weather Channel could provide. The forecast section seems, umm, questionable, but hey, it’s a step in the right direction.
Just thought I’d share. And wondered if anybody knew anything more about all this.
