I love it. I would smoke it any time I desired, but I wouldn’t smoke around my little girl. I prefer it over alcohol but I can’t have it because I don’t want to go to jail.
When I was young I smoked a couple times a week. I never abused it, never took it to another level or decided I needed something stronger. Most of the people I know who smoke are the same way. There’s no good reason it shouldn’t be legal for adults, in my opinion.
I smoked a bit in high school. I haven’t really had the chance to do it again since then. I prefer alcohol to weed, but if it was legalized, I’d definitely use it on occasion.
Heck, I’d use it before it was legalized, if I knew a drug dealer.
What’s the difference in the category of the first two answers?
I’m not fond of the stuff, but believe it should be legal, controlled and taxed. Can’t say I wouldn’t ever go for it if it were legal, but I’ve been to Amsterdam several times and was never seriously tempted there, even when in a cafe sitting next to a friend who was partaking. Just not my thing.
You forgot one option. I tried (actually much more than just tried) it before, but I’ve no particular interest in smoking it again, whether it’s legal or not.
Not a chance. If someone wants to do it, I’m perfectly fine with it, but I personally enjoy the pot buzz about as much a food poisoning. I can’t imagine ever having that feeling again on purpose. I don’t have any problem enjoying the alcohol or pain killer intoxication, but I’ve never experienced any physical sensation I enjoyed less than pot.
Well if you lived in Colorado [or Vermont, CA, AL and others] you’d think it was already legal - as a matter of fact, in certain municipalities here in Colorado it is completely decriminalized, like Breckenridge. It’s not far from full legalization, when the gov’t sees how much they will make off the legal sale of the weed, minds will change regardless of political affiliation…
I smoked a single joint back in college. Didn’t care for it, by which I mean I didn’t see the attraction. It may be that I did it wrong, but I have no desire to repeat the experience.
I used to smoke dope occasionally, but that was more than thirty years ago. I gave it up for reasons unrelated to its illegality, and its decriminalization wouldn’t make those reasons go away.
What used to happen that made me give it up was that I’d go quite abruptly from feeling essentially no effects, to not being able to remember the beginning of a sentence of my own or anyone else’s by the time I or they got to the end. This made me feel like I was sealed off from the people I was with, which was never a pleasant feeling.
Count me among those who would toke up (again) if it became legal.
I used to smoke a fairish bit, but quit because it was illegal. And do not now smoke because it is illegal, and none of my friends or social circle smoke and thus I have no way of obtaining any. I suppose I could go scrounging for it downtown or something, but I don’t need it that much.
I wish it were legal. Probably better for me than the brandy and cigars I use nowadays.
