The Spirit - Darwyn Cooke is a GOD. Aside from the story being damned brilliant, his art is perfect for the Spirit. It doesn’t really look like Eisner’s but it feels like it, if that makes any sense. I think Cooke understands the Spirit better than anyone except the late, great WE.
