Like i said this has nothing to do with family issues. The women is fat and thats all there is to it ok. Not only fat but not a good mom to any of us. Norinew keeps her house dirty and smelly. Then my little sister is going to be as big as she is.
Attention, guys! Wtihout dragging family stuff into it, I will say that DarkButterfly and I had a falling out over the weekend, so this morning, I really thought she was in here being malicious. But now I’m pretty convinced that it’s not my daughter posting this stuff. I talked to my daughter earlier and said to her “How are you accessing the 'net these days?” and she just sounded confused about why I would be asking and said “Well, I haven’t been on in a few days, but I guess I could access it from the library”. And I just now spoke to her at a location where she does not have access. She had a roommate when she first joined, and the roommate knows her username and password. I’m pretty sure this is just the roommate trying to stir up crap.
Hi i may be pretty new here but congrads Norinew on your surgery my mom had it and went from 250 to about 160. But may i say i think u should hold off on blaming the roomate at this point. I know when i would do something i just knew my mom was going to ask me and i acted surprised and confused. Sadly i don’t know your daughter or her roomate to say but maybe that is something to think over.

GillyBean, thanks for the words of encouragement! As for the whole roommate/daughter thing, we’re working on getting it resolved. It’s not just that she acted surprised, it’s that by this point I’ve gotten pretty good at telling when she’s lying!

Congratulations, Norine!!! I’m so excited for you. And a bit jealous as well. I want the DS too, but my husband’s insurance has an exclusion for all WLS. My only hope is that his employer will switch to a better insurance company in the future.

I don’t know how much disposable income you guys have, or what kind of loan options might be available to you, but this surgery can be done very competently and very affordably in Brazil. Here’s me as Audrey Hepburn in “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” - pre weight loss. I actually won 1st prize at my office. You can’t see it, but the glass front of my office looked just like the Tiffany & Co. window - you can just see the table in front of it with the jewelry & a bagel
And here I am for Halloween 2005 - as Tippi Hedren in “The Birds”. I did my office window up as the lobby poster for the movie & I taped hundreds of bird silhouettes all over the office. Hilarity ensued.
I have no idea how to top these two this year.

Not stupid. Enquiring minds want to know, and all that. Suffice it to say that it definitely wasn’t my daughter, our recent falling out notwithstanding.

Sure! I think the whole costume cost me $35 - some fake blood & a wound at Party City, a pair of pantyhose that I had to rip up & “scratch”. Other than that, everything else I had.
