One of our probation officers here at work just showed me a video some teen had posted to facebook, in the video a teen is smoking out of a water-bong but it looks like he is feeding fly-paper or a thin ribbon of semi-transparent material into it.
Any idea what it may have been?

I am guessing based on the description but hash oil on some sort of paper-like medium comes to mind. I think I read about something like that ------- in a book or something.
Maybe smoking dabs?
Looks like dabs is what it was. Seems like a pretty weird way to consume it if you ask me.
Almost certainly dabs.
Don’t knock it. One hit of butane honey oil is like smoking several regular bowls.
Or so I’ve heard.
Dabs are a great way to go. The smoke is a lot less harsh, it’s a nicer high and a little goes a long way.
I know this from personal experience.
This reminds me of a magazine cartoon:
A director talks to a tong extra in a movie, between takes. The extra is smoking a Sherlock Holmes type pipe.
The director asks,
“You mean you went through the Whole
Trojan War with that thing in your mouth?”
(Why, do you know some other way to smoke it )?
Looks like smoking Shrek’s earwax …
