No link but our local paper today carried a story about a fellow caught in the terrorist attacks in India. He said he put butter in his sock because “Australians go down fighting”.
“Australian cameraman Gavin Brennan said he was dining at a restaurant in the Taj Mahal hotel when the terrorists blew the doors off. Mr Brennan, who is from Balmoral in North Sydney but is based in Los Angeles, said he put a butter in his sock and held another to defend himself. ‘It takes more than that to take an Aussie down…I wasn’t going as a hostage’”.
I’m unclear wether he was holding another butter or another sock to defend himself but either way, he was confident of his skillz.
