First and foremost, regarding Meeko:

WHAT THE HELL? Really? We’re asking for modkills now, of players who haven’t broken the rules and are participating? What kind of crap is that? The day we start booting people from these games because we don’t like their playstyle is the day I, at least, stop playing in these games. Fuck that. If you all decide you don’t like long posts, will I be voted off the island, too?

In game, I am suspcious of Freudian Slit and JoeyP, obviously. I think there’s Scum somewhere in the Boozy/NAF/Tom Scud/CiaS quartet, too, but figuring out where is going to require a bit more information.

Now, YMMV, but antagonising Meeko seems like a deliberate play - if Meeko is innocent, provoking him into flipping out could draw votes against him; whether he is innocent or not, flipping out hinders Town. This could be a clever antiTown tactic.

Then 391 is another antiMeeko jab, though much more subtle. So what we have here is a player who, at best, is overly fixated on two players for no visible reason. At worst, Scum trying to drum up a theoretically possible bandwagon on Townies.

I tend to get myself all tangled up with Meeko. I try not to, but I just get sucked in everytime. You’ll take note, please, that I haven’t done it in a while. I’ve promised myself that going forward I’ll answer his well phrased and coherent questions only, and the ones that just don’t make sense or really don’t apply to the current game (IMO) I won’t respond to. It hinders the game, I agree, and I stopped doing it a while back. I also found myself agreeing with others, in that this is his play style and it’s not fair to ask him to be removed from the game because it doesn’t mesh with mine.

No, you mis-understood, it was easy to. It took me a while to understand what I was responding to, and then when you quoted me, the nested quotes got all screwy.

Easy mistake, what with all the nested quotes and what not. But that’s why my vote stayed. In my mind, nothing had changed. It was a misunderstanding not of what was happening, just as to which post someone was talking about.

*I’ve since learned that “Good to Know” is synonymous with accusing someone of PIS. I really didn’t know that. If I had, that wouldn’t have used the reasoning that I did to vote for Booze. I can’t really say if I would have voted Booze for accusing Tom of PIS, but I woudn’t have voted him for voting with out a reason.

I agree, and have gone on record in the past, this game, and others, as stating that I am an easy bandwagon, and that pushing my buttons would at LEAST be debated on a scum board.

Special Ed is named a few times above, but he is not who I am out for. We have a history in Glyph, and I can not ignore that history. You can’t not play favorites in MAFIA. It will lead to less than optimal play, but it will happen, regardless. The degree might vary, but you can not say that it does not exist in the game. Ed gets a pass for now, but he is not off my radar completely.

So, my longer post looked at Joey:

I was looking over in LOST when my post got eaten. I was called out for using choice language. You escaped the same fate. Do not worry, I’m not voting policy here, but, I need to bring it up, so that I can pair it with other points.

You, like me, expend more energy on this game than we probably should. We get connected to it at a level that is perhaps, frankly speaking, in a strict sense, not healthy in large doses.

You are bouncing back and forth on me and Booze. Perhaps spliting up this way waters down your scum intention, perhaps it is a counter measure after your scum mates tell you to cool it, and or undo what you just did.

But, further, you basically admit that you vote me, because you do not understand me. If it is not a vote, it comes out as asking for me to be Subbed. [And in a game where I am very active, (Post count be darned), and we have some stragglers that probably should be subbed, (Sorry RoOsh, nothing personal) asking for me to be subbed, instead of voting me is strictly worse.

You vote / ask to sub me because you say you do not understand me.

You then ask for other people to not vote you, because you claim you are misunderstood.

I believe that you and your scum mates [and again, I am not ruling out Special Ed] were trying to go for an easy bandwagon.

At worst, you guys saw me as an easy target for day 1.

At best, you guys recognize me for the player I really am, and know that I am too much of threat for you guys.

Either way, you attack me for being one way, and then you hypocritically defend yourself in much the same way.

Something isn’t right here.

It’s not OMGUS, because I elaborate on reasons, and back up my reasons with things i have said in this game.

But in so many ways, those before me have put it better. If you, and indeed others can not understand me, perhaps you would be more lenient when I offer what I can, and then also point to other’s posts.

I have my reasons, if you do not accept them, for whatever reason, then, accept it at the very least as a well founded “Me Too!” vote.
