For those of you who aren’t:
Idle’s. A new game should be starting in a week or so.
Guys, I don’t think that story was any sort of bomber. Why? A few reasons.

When he died, he flipped Ordinary Crimson Thorn. Not CT Bomber or anything, straight vanilla Scum.

If we assume story bombed NatLaw, then we must assume that the ordinary NK failed, again. Highly unlikely, though not impossible.
As for why the colour said that story chose NatLaw, I don’t know. But in the face of these two points I have to assume that the colour was strickly meaningless.
Oh, and Meeko - I love the idea of doing a WoW on the mod. That made my day :D. It was useful, too.
Hmm, first off:

as it is the sensible play for today. It is curious though that he was the person actually lynched MentalGuy, whereas **cucay **tied the votes at that point.
I basically have to concur with AllWalker.
Meeko, and pretty much everyone else even discussing this–the only sane course of action is to assume that **Mahaloth **is telling the truth and the whole truth when he says things like “Story was an ordinary Crimson Thorn and is now 100% dead”. If he’s lying, then we’re not really playing Mafia in the same way that a referee allowing a quarterback to have a baseball bat has made that game not football.
**Mahaloth **must be taken at face value in non-color pronouncements at all times or the “game” becomes nonsensical. If he’s deliberately lying to us, we can punish him later.
I hope you are being serious.
It’s just, as far as my experience goes, this game is the head scratchiest. I figured that if we could put nights against each other, something might pop out. At the very least, we don’t have to go so far upthread anymore.
I just feel that we are kinda locked in for today, but, we wont have that luxury tommorow. (To be frank, that’s exactly what it is, in terms of the lock, and the fact that it is a luxury at this point, and that it is limited in its duration.)
But, CIAS, werent you one of the first people to comment on the math of doing a 1:1 this early in the game? ((That even if Cucuy is scum, the intel now [Regardless of it’s quality] is better than the lynch?))
You’ll notice he did vote for Diver, not cucuy. It’s something that is worth noting, should Diver turn up vanilla, non-millerized town.
If I’m a Miller it will be news to me. My death will simply serve as a reminder that cucuy’s investigations are not 100% accurate and will clarify that his failed investigations yield an incorrect result instead of no result. That’s an important fact to know going into the end game. All further players that **cucuy **examines should be evaluated individually.
Of course. It was an amusing, but good, idea. Keeping a close eye on the colour might be a time sink, but there might actually be clues in there.
Let me just say this, I am glad that the game in general is past subbing me. I’m not so sure I could pull out another case as I did on pede earlier.
But, I am not putting anything on. That was me, and that is still within me to do again, perhaps in a later game. It is because it was not faked, that I can not make another one. I am not in the same place now as I was then, and frankly, the game has gone on past that moment, in so many ways.
Very truly, the WOW gets harder as the game goes on, right? [And obviously, I can understand full well, why it is a tall order to WOW me.]
Then again, after this lynch, we will have new things to do. Just. as we can all agree, it is kinda locked up for today.
It’s cucuy’s responsibility to figure these things out. And he should do it before we hang you up to dry, if he’s not sure about the result of a false investigation. My role PM was very clear on the result of a failed vigging.
I disagree. If he’s simply told his investigations are 75% accurate, but he’s not told what kind of result the other 25% will give (ie false reading vs no reading) then he has to assume that when he is giving a result it is accurate until proven otherwise.
Now if he’s been told that his investigations might yield an incorrect reading and he’s been withholding that information from us, then he should be a prime lynch candidate for Tomorrow.

Sorry, guys the wedding festivities started today and i havent had time to devote to the game. I’m not sure if I mentioned my little sister is getting married Saturday. Tonight was the wedding rehursle and since I’m the only local I had to take everyone out to the bars. Luckily the doesnt seem to be much going on the Day since Diver’s lync is garunteed. But 'I still want to apoligize for my lack of participation.
Just for those of you who play with me on a regular basis I think this is y first drunk mafia post. I won’t be arround for the lynch tomorrow since we didn’t do the rehursal, several of the groomsmen didn’t make it into town in time so we going to try again at 9:00 am, I’m thinking I wson’t make the 30 min drive in time considering it’s only 7 hours away.
Anyhow, I’m sorry for my lack of participation but I don’t think I’m hurting the town any. Since I’m short on time does. any one want to discuss who I should sleep with?

That would tie in with BS. P.I’s comment about everyone knowing if he failed a one-hit kill at Night.
Of course, the question then remains, that if cucay is wrong about USCDiver, then is it an effect of Nanook’s protection given that no-one else has had a post restriction in this game yet. Here is hoping that the question is academic.
I have to go out in an hour. By the time I’ve done what I have to, returne and eaten it’s likely to be an hour or so before Dusk.
USCDiver’s lynch looks like a foregone conclusion, with 10 voters piled on him already; the only exceptions being USCDiver himself, Oredigger (who seems to be … preoccupied) and myself.
I was contemplating deliberately not voting, so as to have someone off the Diver vote in case there’s a consequence for not voting the same way as an otherwise-unanimous vote. I think, however, that there is no sense in two players taking that risk, and Oredigger has volunteered.

We await Tomorrow with trepidation. Hopefully I can use the Night to reread again and get my head back in this game.
Oh, that’s not good. Unfortunately, you may be up for lynch Tomorrow unless I somehow turn out to be a Miller. I don’t know why a Scum investigator would sacrifice himself to throw me under the bus at this stage in the game. So hopefully your investigation results are due to the same Babelfish affliction.
