Weird Wild West Mafia/Werewolf/Psychopath

After all this time, you’re still bearing a grudge aren’t you?

I mean why, it’s not like anything happened. :stuck_out_tongue:

Interesting Fluff.

Then again, I should talk here.

Just a note - this will probably be my last post before I go AFK. See you all in a couple of days. In the meantime, feel free to make fun of my accent.

/ Being an Ass

When can we start talking on ““Monday”” ?

/ Being an Ass

I’m starting Day at 10:00 AM. I’ll post then to announce that Day One has started.

Can you mention which timezone you are working on, please?

Meeko, if you want to know about history between me and the Squid, ask him. I’m sure he will be delighted to tell all.

Sometimes I am, yes. In this particular case, though, I am a director: Stephen Sondheim’s Assassins, which closed last night.

I’m back. Tired, but back. Glad I didn’t miss much. More later today.

Kidding!

Eastern timezone, United States(same as New York City).

That’s ok. Wasn’t asking. I have my own history with some players in this game. As they do not want me to bring it up, I will not. I would assume that Squid would ask the same.

**Most of the town of Weirdsville could not sleep very well, the image of the brutalized body and decapitated head of Lucille dominating their thoughts. Out of fear, people stayed inside their home during the Night as much as possible.

In the morning, at the first light of day, some townspeople began to slowly tumble out of their homes. A brief search and count was conducted, and all townspeople survived the Night. Relief, mixed with an ongoing sense of anxiety, filled the townspeople.

“Hey! Look at the sign over by the school house!” cried a child.

The townspeople gathered by the school house. The sign, which had read, “Love thy neighbor,” had been washed out. Now, it read something else, written in what looked like blood. Was it Lucille’s blood? The sign read:

			Disembowelment. Torture. Tonight.
“It looks like the Crimson Thorns are not done with us,” sighed one individual.

It is now Day One. You may openly discuss all strategy and place your [COLOR="Blue"]votes, which are to be in bold blue. Day ends on Friday, August 7 at Noon Eastern.

Ok, I’m back on the internet and as luck would have it Day 1 should be starting any second, right?

Ummm, I guess I need to refresh before I post.

So, I guess it’s time to get all of the normal discussions out of the way. I think its safe to rule out a mass claim. None of us want people to edit. Lurking is bad but you probably wont get strung up for it Day 1 but in the later days if its a habit you’re probably toast. Did I forget anything?

Oh ya, random votes suck.

Indeed. I don’t see a lot to hang discussion on for day 1, sadly, since it’s a totally closed setup. 18 total players means about 5 scum, right? (Although the last game should tell us not to treat that figure as gospel).

NETA: The “indeed” was to Oredigger’s previous post (#111). Though I think he’s covered most of the ground there.

**I will be creating the Wild West Forbidden thread in the next half-hour or so.

Just a heads up; be careful not to read that threat. It contains discussion on the game, but is not the spoiler thread.

I will add the word “The” in front of Weird Wild West, so you don’t accidentally open it.**

Oh, yeah, and if someone is a total nonparticipant we should probably sub them rather than lynch them.

How about “The FORBIDDEN Weird Wild West Thread” I know once or twice in the past I’ve clicked the wrong thread since the names were close enough (ie, put FORBIDDEN at the beginning of the title and not the end).

And, looking back at the discussion of scum numbers in the Lost Mafia thread, it looks like it’s more likely 4 scum than 5.

Isn’t that number likely to depend on the roles that the town has as well.

If there are a few town power roles, it would think it is likely to be four scum, with several town power roles, you could make a case for five.

And if the game is not properly balanced, you could make a case for three or for six.
