Well, in the off chance that the rules have changed and now two wrongs do make a right, Congratulations!

I understand the rule, I understand they must be enforced. Still, these people (GazooII and cynical313) are not here to cause any kind of trouble. They are out and upfront about their situations and want to get them straightened out. Is the 4 cents of a day’s subscription so important that they can’t be allowed the grace to post while their situations are resolved?

This is a great suggestion in the mist of this pitting. I am glad it was not lost.

I was a member five years ago. Shortly before the boards went all pricey-like, I lost my job so I never paid up.
A few months back, after lurking and regaining a feel for these boards, I decided I wanted to be a guest.

Couldn’t remember myold password, so I signed up under a new name. Realised what I had done and started a thread in ATMB titled Am I a Sock?. I found out I was, took steps to remedy it, and all was hunky-dory.
It wasn’t difficult, and all it took was an awareness of the rules.
We’re all aware of the rules, aren’t we?
