I just got home and logged right into the boards, and noticed that the member count has surpassed the 10,000th mark. Who’s the lucky guy/gal/it? I’d like to personally welcome whoever it is.

I suddenly realize that this is a troll tread, and sk8rixtx is the main troll and there are a half dozen more in the pack. Everyone learns about the trolls on the first viewing of this site, because that’s all some people talk about, but I did’t think I would be the target.
Your acromyns list says a troll is anyone who disagrees with you. Well how do you defend yourself on that one? Denial puts you in disagreement, hence a troll. Wow, what cool logic. That would puzzle my daughters for a few minutes, since they’re 5. But I think it’s easier to say namecalling is a game two can play. I say you’re trolls, and if you disagree, that only proves it. Happy now?
I did have to wonder about being termed an “it” in the lead-in, and the fact that you made me come back here after finding my own thread on the topic.

voguevixen - Have I been lurking for a bit, or have been here before? Lurking is an ugly word. If you mean reading questions and answers but not offering any answers, then a few days. Do I know a couple of stock formats? Yes. This isn’t my first message board, you know. Or should know if you get out much. This probably is nobody’s first board, being only a year or so old from the member dates.

BTW, if the point of asking repeat questions is your way to convince someone of something, you may find nobody is stupid enough to buy into that logic.

Would you believe it’s been my nickname since college track meets? No? Would you believe it was my house number? No? OK, it was inspired by jcgmoi’s thread " #10,000 ". That would have been the username but I wasn’t sure the # and comma would work as part of a username, but I saw digits were OK.

Ok, now I’m confused.
Usually people who are newbies, even after lurking for a while, are generally nice for their first few posts. Also trools are defined as not “people who don’t share the same opinions” but as people who are generally here to pisss people off.
If you claim not to be a troll, I would lurk some more and learn to be a bit more diplomatic on your first few posts.
I was plenty nice. Then I got “roasted”, but not in the pit.

You were not roasted. Nobody called you a troll. People just hoped you weren’t a particular poster called concrete(he’s come back under several user names, most recently today). If you’re not, great. concrete was called a troll not you.
Relax.
User 10K, far be it from me to get in the way of a classic self-inflicted immolation, but nobody in this thread has yet flamed you, and if you’d like to remain untorched I’d suggest you stop being an overly sensitive ass.
But that’s just my opinion.
