Well, after that thread about uncomfortable moments....

This is the only movie that has ever literally made me actually vomit.

Careful, if you are not the first segment that vomit is coming back to you.

The first human centipede movie was quite depressing. I too didn’t find it overly gross or horrific. I just was quite depressed after watching it. I thought it was a very effective movie, and very well done.

The sequel, if you want to call it that, was also very well done but it was horrible in about the worst ways you can imagine. There were scenes I literally could not watch, and after I was done I just really hated myself for subjecting my eyes to that kind of filth. It really is horrific and I can’t in good conscience recommend it, but I know that that kind of non-recommendation makes certain kinds of people want to go watch it even more. Trust me, it’s terrible. There’s essentially no dialogue. The main character never talks, he just grunts and laughs. It’s depressing and sad. But where the first movie feels somehow “classy” this movie just feels like an all out gore and filth fest.

Talk about winning the anti lottery.

“Hey, we are making a horror movie, wanna a part”

Sure!

This is one of those things where people say “dude, you don’t wanna see it” and I’ve managed to control myself.

Good for you billfish. Never see it. At least not the 2nd one.

I liked the first movie quite a lot. Of course, I dig Saw, Hostel, all that kind of stuff. The first movie – Human Centipede (First Sequence) – was a legitimate torture porn flick, and a pretty good one for fans of the genre.

The second one – Human Centipede (Full Sequence) – was not a good movie in any way. Have you ever seen those “direct to video” sequels of actual movies like 30 Days of Night: Dark Days or Wild Things: Diamonds in the Rough? They’re unwatchable drek, without any of the redeeming qualities of the original.

Human Centipede (Full Sequence) is bad in a way like that. It’s not that it’s got that super cheesy “direct to video” vibe, but its badness is similarly unappealing.

Went to wiki and read the plot of the sequel - no way am I watching that.

Looks like there’s a third film in the works; from the wiki page:

"As of August 2011, Six was already working on a third film, to be titled The Human Centipede 3 (Final Sequence). Six has revealed that the film will again be very different from the previous part but will also start with its ending, so in the end the parts of the trilogy would form one continuous film about four and a half hours long, making it similar to a centipede. He also stated that the third film will answer some “lasting questions,” will have a strange happy ending, and will be the last of the series as he does not want to do any more Centipede films.[12] In an interview with DreadCentral.com, Six said the third film will “make the last one look like a Disney film. We’re going to shoot the third film entirely in America, and it’s going to be my favorite… It’s going to upset a lot of people.”
A press release on 5 January 2013 indicated that Dieter Laser and Six had ended their ongoing legal battle. The legal battle had been going on since March 2012 due to creative differences. It was also confirmed that Laser would be returning for the third film. The press release also confirmed that Harvey would be also be returning for the third installment. Other information from the press release was that it would be set in America, would star a big American celebrity, would have ‘a storyline that nobody would expect’ and have a centipede consisting of 500+ people.
Prior to the press release, Six asked followers on Twitter for suggestions for an American adult film actress, an American daredevil black actor, a skinny redneck actor and a cult film/sci-fi actor. Filming had commenced in May and June, 2013.
On 29 May, a press release confirmed that Eric Roberts had been cast in the film, as per the previous press release stated that the film would star a big American celebrity. Other cast members include former pornographic actress Bree Olson, Robert LaSardo and Tommy “Tiny” Lister, Jr… Filming commenced in Los Angeles in May 2013 and will wrap up in June. Casting notices confirmed that part of the film will take place in a prison. The official tagline for the film is “100% Politically Incorrect”

I’ll stick with Eraserhead for springing on unsuspecting friends.

I don’t want to say too many nice things about Human Centipede 2 but it wasn’t a terribly made movie. It was effective for what it was. That being said, no one should ever watch it.

South Park did a parody of this movie.

At the time, I didn’t realize it was a parody, I just thought it was a really gross episode. Then I found out it was a parody and thought ‘wow, that’s really freaking disturbing’. No way in HELL I’d watch that. I could barely handle the cartoon.

As bad as the second one was, I am so totally watching this.

Heh

Um, why wouldn’t he? If someone did that to me, you better believe I’d off myself.
