DD is in a program at her elementary school that will allow her to spend one day a week for the next 9 weeks in the art studio of a local university. She (and I) are very excited about it. I visited this same studio many years ago and fell in love with the large, airy, bright, building and the wonderful messiness of the various projects being worked on there. I only visited for one day, she gets 9 days there!
She had several options from which to choose and got her first choice. What a lucky girl! Yay!
