Oh, no! She was all about giving our inside only cats all their shots on schedule. Her oldest kid went to a public school and the younger one went to a day care, both of which required vaccinations.
I really do not understand people who pick and choose the vaccines they take by politics.
I used to know the receptionist at the mortuary I drove past to work every day. She told me that they didn’t cremate bodies during the day because seeing the smoke distressed people. I started seeing daylight smoke over a year ago, then it stopped for a while. My friend who still works by that place reports that smoke is seen all day long now.
But, good ol’ do nothing deucy has proclaimed that the pandemic is over, so it’s over.
We live about a half-mile from the Mesa LDS temple and a utility building out back has a 1920s-era tall smokestack on it. We’d wondered if perhaps it was a crematorium but when the temple had an open house last month after a major renovation before they consecrated it it again we took the opportunity to ask.
It’s a laundry to do the vestments worn in the temple.
Unfortunately, many of the people I know and associate with are exactly half that smart! But they often make up for it by being twice as manipulative. It is a trade off I guess.
