The kids are off of school the week before Easter ( which is something new around here) and I ran to the video store for resources for all of us.

Kill Bill One & Kill Bill Two
Dragon Lord
Another Jackie Chan flick that I forget what it is but I’m sure there is some asskicking involved.
Anyone else do a themed thingie like this?

Well, some great introductions to the genre that are also great for group party watching are:

Shaolin Soccer
Legend of the Drunken Master (aka Drunken Master 2)
Storm Riders
House of Flying Daggers
Iron Monkey
Fist of Legend

If you want to get daring, and discover if you have the recessive kung-fu movie fanatic gene waiting to be unleashed, go rent Bride with White Hair. Then get back to me :slight_smile:

I would add Jackie Chan’s “New Police Story”, but with the caveat that you may want to wait til the kids are abed, age-dependant. The opening of the film is -much- darker than most of Chan’s more family-friendly work, but the fight scenes after the halfway point of the movie are pretty awsome.

While you’re at it, look for the clip “Kill Bunny” from Robot Chicken. Pretty funny.
