That’s messed up, for lack of a more dramatic term. The kid derailed a freaking train?? Yeah, we’ll be hearing from him again all right.
I was just a bit freaked at seeing the pic of the train. When Bosda’s link mentioned derailing a train, I had a mental picture of a slow-moving suburban train having its lead wheels jumped off the track by a piece of wood, and rolling to a stop a few feet later. When I saw the photo, it looks like an express train has been derailed at speed, concertina’d itself at weird angles across the line, and freakin’ demolished a station or some other railway building in the process.
Ugh, this is my ex-boyfriend’s (aka current best friend’s, probable soulmate’s, long story which I will spare you) hometown… this was all over the place. I saw that train in real life, and it was disturbing.
I don’t really have anything to say except… Gah, I hate it. >_<

No, the train derailment appears to have happened two years ago in another town. The cat hanging incident just happened recently.
