I will be away for the weekend starting in a few hours.
Still waiting for Jsexton to proof his statement.

Prove, I mean :smack: to late for edit.
Thanks…I’ll be hanging out in the sandbox of my mind, where I sometimes can’t differentiate between what I’ve forgotten and what I never knew in the first place.
Acting? Snort. That wasn’t acting, baby. Ahem.
Our votes cancel each other out, then. What in interesting developement.
:dubious: I wish I had two farms to bet,on top of your 3rd post theory you now offer yourself up to be voted for.You got it bub.Jsexton is still my vote.
ah, in time for the lynching popcorn anyone?
Yep, voting’s over. Short post just so people don’t end up simul-posting the announcements.
Ah. Nothing like a lynching to really bring a Village together.
*The villagers, apparently unconcerned with the spate of livestock killings and the threat of werewolves, spoke hesitantly with others. jsgoddess was the hot tip; Motivated perhaps by jealously of her fine quilts or her land, rather than suspicion? Farmer JSexton, local werewolf expert, also proved suspicious… was he using his experience in other villages to survive here? Luckily for them, the villagers realised their situation, and conversed more seriously as to what to do.
Among others, Menocchio arose suspicion, and other villagers were quick to fall in line. A search of his house revealed a disguised basement, littered with gore, gnawed bones, and empty Pepperoni pizza boxes. The mob “escorted” him to the stage, the rope of silver strands (Provided for by Bob’s Livery and Supernatural Store. Bob’s - a Family Store.) placed about his neck.
The lever is pulled.
Night falls.*
You have lynched Menocchio, the Alpha Wolf. Nice start, townspeople! Kythereia is also removed from the game, due to lack of participation; i’ll announce whoever’s going to replace her at the beginning of the next Day. Speaking of which, Day Two will begin just as soon as I recieve emails from the following people; the Werewolf Team, outlining their choice of victim; the Seer, giving me a name of someone they want to investigate (which I will email them back with); and the Guardian Angel, with the name of the person they want to protect. Again, Day Two’ll last one week from my opening post, or shorter if someone accrues 8 votes.
Feel free to post “Aha! I told you so!” or “Drat! Right under our noses all along!” type posts, but no discussion of who you want to lynch next, k? And Menocchio can have one goodbye post, but that’s it from our late furry friend.
Holy mackerel. Some people are smart. And then there’s me.
Yay us. Er…well…yay for the late-running bandwagon. :o As the victim of one of Menocchio’s early attempts at instigating paranoia, I humbly thank the township for having the courage and fortitude to do what I could not.
:: sidles up to jsgoddess ::
No hard feelings then, eh?
And hey! I have fine quilts and large… tracts of land!
Is that some sort of euphemism? :dubious:
Ahem.
Mwaaaaahahahahahahaha! I rule!
runs very fast away from werewolf vengeance
Holy crap. Damn. The Alpha Wolf (dundun DUUUUunnn!) Good job with the figuring out, guys who actually figured it out. I had no clue, though the theory posted seems to have been accurate. Well, I don’t feel too bad about my vote, because I still think we were lucky on Menocchio with the first shot.
So what do we do during the night on this thread, just kind of batten down the hatches? Water the wolfsbane in the windowbox, order silver bullets off eBay, etc?
I don’t think anybody actually figured it out. I voted for him simply because he pointed at me - I get defensive when I’m accused of being a vicious supernatural monster. Good start for us, though.
Does one of the remaining werewolves now move up to Alpha Wolf status, or are we facing a leaderless pack now?
umm… JSexton… can I keep my farm?
This is what was said that caused Menocchio’s name to get thrown out first. It’s apparently an effective predictor. This means now no one will get more than 3 votes because no one is going to want this to be seen as their “scum tell.” :smack:
Then Ogre said:
… wherein Menocchio says stuff about not wanting werewolves to know our strategies, which seemed like a give-away that he was trying too hard to see “normal.”
So, what have we learned? That people who jump on the bandwagon are bad guys? A lot of people jumped on the Menocchio bandwagon and were right. Some of them could have been werewolves, covering their hairy asses by voting for with the group. I am trying to glean some future strategies from this first, quite successful lynching, since obviously I lacked the confidence to call someone out on some subjective basis this time around. Thoughts?
