Werewolf - a game.

D’Oh!

Merely because it’s easier and so people aren’t caught off guard if they haven’t been counting, i’m going to say it’s 24 hours from the vote count post in which I say there’s been 5 votes. That was 3.06pm my time, so at 3.00 on Thursday this Day will end. And, to the contrary, i’m far from humble, O puny one.

If anyone wants someone other than Winston offed - now’s the time to speak up and convince others.

When I started composing this post, he was at the top of my list, but I didn’t have much more than a vague suspicion of him. By the time I had gone back through the thread and compiled the information in that post, I was pretty well convinced that he was a werewolf.

Nothing he’s said since then has disabused me of that notion, either. I’m still ready to string him up - and I’m ready to eat crow if it turns out he’s really a townie. I just don’t think it’ll come down to that.

Yeah, his non-answer answers have been pretty shady.

Vote Winston Smith.

Looks like I’m gonna swing, so it’s time.

I am a Mason.

I have knowledge of two other Masons in this game, and One And Only Wanderers is not one of them, contrary to his claim. If the wolves know the identity of an empowered townie, why would they not eat him? I’ll tell you why. Because he’s not a Mason, and he’s not a townie. One And Only Wanderers is a werewolf. I haven’t chased him because I’ve been trying to smoke out his furry friends, whom I believe to be jsgoddess and MadTheSwine. Since I have been unable to allay doubt of my innocence and cast the eye of suspicion rightly upon these two, I think it’s time to right a big wrong. unvote jsgoddess
I vote for One And Only Wanderers.

And the reason you didn’t speak up when Wanderers claimed to be a Mason is…

I’m very happy with my vote.

I do not believe you. Not a bit. And I hope that the other Masons won’t fall for this ploy.

If you are a Mason, we’ll find out after you’re lynched. If you are one, we’ll lynch OAOW.

I stated explicitly why. I knew he was lying about being a Mason, and figured the wolves would take him the first chance they got, because what possible reason would the wolves have for leaving a known Mason running around? The fact that he’s still alive can only mean one thing.

Just a few posts after Wanderers claimed to be a Mason, you posted this:

Strange behavior for somebody who knows for a fact that Wanderers is lying. I’m perfectly happy to hang you and see if you’re telling the truth once the smoke clears. If you’re really a Mason, I’ll apologize to your family and take care of your grave as long as I live.

Or it could mean that the wolves assume the guardian angel’s protecting him, and don’t want to waste a night without killing anyone.

Contradictory. If he’s not a Mason, he’s a wolf. If you’re not a Mason, you’re a wolf.

And you’re not a Mason.

If you were a Mason, you would have blown a perfect opportunity to get a wolf lynched. After all of our discussion, you would have known that, so a Mason lying low after someone falsely claimed Masonhood would have been silly.
OAOW could have survived for many reasons. The Angel is one.

Not just you - two other people would have had to pass up that opportunity at the same time. I just don’t see it.

Thanks. You’ve convinced me.

More specifically, you’ve convinced me that I was wrong about **jsgoddess ***and *you.

vote Winston Smith

Not at all. It makes no sense to claim a role unless absolutely necessary. My situation is dire, so it’s time to lay my cards on the table (and let the chips fall where they may).

The goal is to kill the werewolves. Outing a werewolf is where the role claim becomes “absolutely necessary.”

So let me get this straight. You (Winston Smith) expect us to believe the follwing:

**OAOW **falsely claims that he is a Mason, in order to avoid a lynching.
You know that he is lying, yet you publicly support his claim anyway.
The other two Masons, who also know he is lying, both decide to keep quiet as well.

Now, some days later, you claim that you are a Mason to avoid a lynching.
The other two Masons, both of whom know you are telling the truth, choose to once again remain silent, instead of coming to your defense.
Either we’ve got some of the most bone-idle, laziest Masons in history, or you’re full of it. I’m betting on the latter.

Yep. I say we kill 'em and then lynch OAOW if we’re wrong.

Well. When you put it like that

Or else WS is just a townie who is really tired of playing and wants to wreak as much havoc as possible before dying.

Is that a confession?
