Ooh, feeling a leetle fuzzy, are ya?
Well, I haven’t shaved in a couple of days, so…Wait! No, I’m not feeling fuzzy! Quite smooth, in fact!
Seeing as how the five vote rule is still in effect, and since it doesn’t appear there will be much change of mind this day, we’re going into countdown. Day ends tomorrow at 6:00pm - you’ve got about 16 hours to vote, plan, and board up your windows.
No rules against planning ahead, right?
Well, other than Mad, I only have 3 people still on my suspect list, unfinished symphony, Captain Carrot and dnooman. I’ve already posted my lists for us and CC. I may or may not have time to make one up for dnooman tonight. “Today” should still carry over for at least another day, though, so I can put one up before “Nightfall”, if people think it’d help. ETA: Or not… I’ll get to work.
My food for thought for today: Right after dnooman posted: “I think if he were the GA, he would have claimed by now. So, I’m fairly comfortable with a vote for MadTheSwine”, Mad did the role claim. Coincidence, stolen idea, or a pre-arranged cue?
I personally hope sturmhauke didn’t investigate Mad, since it’s obvious now that his role claim was a lie (hindsight…). I’d rather be able to either confirm or deny one of the three listed above.
Ok…ok… funs over. All jokes aside,ya’ll need to put down your pitchforks.I am not the GA as you can see. The reason I claimed GA was because you guys were gettin ready to lynch me and since I was sure I wasn’t a wolf and knew that a vanilla townie role claim is pretty much worthless I decided to claim GA,and hope Cookies was a wolf. What I didn’t expect was for the real GA to come out and foolishly blow his cover, would have been much wiser not to say anything, especially since he missed the voting day and made his declaration during the night were it was absolutely no use to anyone except the wolves. So you can unvote me now.**sturmhauke ** will be along shortly to back me up on this.
You know, we should at least stop and consider the fact that MadTheSwine, like our beloved Winston Smith before him, is in actuality a mere townsperson who made an unfortunate misstatement, and not a mangy werewolf at all.
OK, that was long enough.
Vote MadTheSwine.
And since it seems likely that we’re going to lose our Seer tonight, (assuming sturmhauke’s not a big, fat, lying, werewolf bastard too), this might be a good time for us all to make public our lists of suspects. I need to review my notes one more time, and I’ll be back with mine in a bit.
I would really like to hear from sturmhauke before anyone goes too public with anything we don’t know yet.
What?! You were asking for the Seer and GA to reveal themselves. I was telling them to keep quiet so that they had a reduced chance of being killed. I questioned sturmhauke’s claim as well as MadTheSwine’s, why would I not question a claim after what Winston pulled?
I vote for MadTheSwine.
Are you sure you don’t want to call them out again?
No. I did not.
Though if Ogre had been around, as it turns out, his outing himself would have had a benefit for the town, since then we would have had a shot to lynch the wolf and he would have known his own danger.
So would I. C’mon folks calm down, calm down.If sturmy doesn’t show up in time another townie is gonna swing…ME!!.Let’s not be hasty here.
Mad, you are not helping your case. Proclaiming that you are town without a) providing evidence for it or b) making a convincing argument that someone else howls at the moon merely makes you look as if you have no leg to stand on. We know that, of course, but building up that image is simply not wise.
The wolves made a lucky guess. There would have been no guessing if the GA counterclaimed, except for guessing which of the two would be protected. I’m pretty sure that Ogre knew he was in danger, possibly because he’s been the number one target for the wolves since day one. We still get to kill MadTheSwine and we still outnumber the wolves by quite a bit. I see no reason why the GA should have counterclaimed, no sense in handing our two best players to the wolves. You’ll notice that I was not alone in thinking that the GA should stay hidden.
You have been involved in the lynching of every townsperson to date (in all fairness so has Kat). You also didn’t vote for either of the wolves we have killed so far. Following your advice seems to be decidedly anti-town.
Yep. I make no claims about my skill at this game. They’re nonexistent.
That evidence will be provided when **sturmhauke ** shows up…til then unvote me.
You mean like the this post?
Unvote Winston Smith…vote Captain Carrot
I won’t be changing my vote. If sturmhauke were to come and say you’re a townie, I still wouldn’t change my vote.
That certainly strengthens your declaration in post 1194.
Sure, it might.
But since you are either a werewolf or you deliberately caused the death of a townie, and directly or indirectly the death of the GA, your opinion doesn’t carry as much weight with me as it might.
If sturmhauke vouches for you, he might be a werewolf, too. It’s really hard to say, isn’t it? What we definitely can say is that you have lied at least once, and you did a fake role claim. That’s enough to hang you.
Hey, Cookies was safe the last time I checked in for that vote! I had nothing to do with urging people to change votes from MadtheSwine to Cookies! (If I’d’ve been on, I would probably have nominated unfinished symphony over Cookies.)
A question for people who have played this game before: Are false role claims by Townies usual?
