The last one is funny, since I’m horribly allergic to oranges. Also interesting, after I thought of those three my brain froze up and I couldn’t think of anything else. So it seems those are the ONLY fruits as far as my brain is concerned.
banana, apple, & orange–or strawberry. weird thing is I thought of the word orange, but I was trying to put in words a picture in my head, which was a banana & two red non-citrus. (Maybe a Prunus or a pomegranate)

I hate apples. The sound of someone cutting them, or biting into them sends chills down my spine. I usually end up leaving the room if someone is eating a raw apple (cooked varieties don’t make the sound). Pears sound almost identical but don’t have the same effect on me, even during a “blind” situation.
Those water chestnut things in Chinese food also give me that same uncomfortable feeling.
Same list, same order as the OP - and they *are *my preferred fruit, although there’s something to be said for peaches, pears and watermellon.
