I think for any dog owner/lover, that episode just sucks tears right from the ducts. Does for me anyway.
I’m so dissappointed I missed it, hopefully they will release it to DVD soon.
This was the first time I’d ever seen this episode, and I wept like the little girl I am. Just the mere mention of the montage at the end (thanks, Siegfried) got me teary–and here I am in a public computer lab.
I, too, have a pup (ahem well, he’s almost eight), and in a while I’ll be leaving him behind, and this episode just tore the tears from me. I cried through the credits and for a good few minutes after.
