Look at it this way. Everything led up to you having the car sitting where it was stationary at the time the kid flew onto your hood. It saved him from serious injury, and the driver was caught. It sounds like everything coming together to help that kid.

NO. It’s all about the tree. You,anti- arborists, you–this is about that poor, innocent fir tree who never wanted to be a Christmas tree, but when Fate decreed otherwise, acquiesced with good grace and this is the thanks it got. Have you ice cold sap in your xylem? O! The gymnosperms!

I’m with you on this brother, since I grew up and became a grumpy old bugger I’ve loathed Christmas, worse than I loath garden Gnomes, I think:confused:
Sometime, somehow, I will find a way to add this to a conversation during Christmas.
