You’re doing way better than I am. I’ve been trying, on and off, for 3 days and they must’ve sent the email verification link over a dozen times.
The average time between signing up and receiving the “we just sent you a link, click it to verify your email” email, has been about 8 hours so far.
At one point yesterday, I got as got as far as “we’ve verified your email, please select a username and password” before getting the intractable “OOPS” message.
But I haven’t been able to get that far again.

Trump accidentally hires someone competent, and the site looks like it’s going to work. Then Trump fires him because the guy was too good, and was getting too much media attention.
I find it very amusing that some bored geek is doing better work out of his mom’s basement than the people Trump hired to build his platform.
What I wonder is, isn’t the source code for Twitter available anywhere? That’s what Trump really wants, so why not just hire some geek to copy the code, add in some gold leafing, and launch it as his own site?

Last time I checked, “Truth Social” is based on the open-source Twitter alternative Mastodon, so this is more or less literally what they did.
And they still screwed it up?
