In our household, this is known as Clean-dô: The Way of the Kitten.
Oh, yeah…how goes the self-flushing kitty toilet, anyway? And the wall crawling?
Kitty toilet works just fine. We finally figured out how to set the cylces and it runs very well. It drones on for about 20 minutes, but the cool down, dry period is not too noisy. Kitty loves it, I think.
She’s been concentrating on exploring the basement as of late, but when she pisses off the Dog she climbs right up the wall. Luckily the walls can take it, and we can’t see any claw marks on the logs. Plus we had to put a circular door handle on the kitty palace door because she figured out how to undo the latch style knob that was on it. And she’s growing like a weed.
I bought her some catnip the other day and it is sooo damn funny watching her roll in it for a few minutes, then lol in her own bliss, then all of a sudden dart up stairs then down, then up, then down like 5 times… The she usually sleeps. Very funny. But I can only give her copious amounts of nip when my wife is not home 
You are SO stuck. Poor man, you didn’t even see it coming. This is what comes of being head over heels in love with your wife.
