What are Croatian words for vegetables?

In “ER” episode “Humpty Dumpty” (Nov 18, 1999), 8+ months pregnant Nurse Carol Hathaway tells Dr. Kovac that she feels like pumpkin. Kovac isn’t familiar with word, so she describes it. He says, “Oh, bundava.” Then he says, “I would have said lubinisk (or bubinisk or rubinisk)”

What is Croatian word for “pumpkin” and what type of vegetable is Lubinisk?

(I tried to represent the words as closely as I could phonemically discern them.)

“Bundeva” is pumpkin in Croatian. I’m not sure what the other word is, though.

Ah! I know what you’re getting at. It’s lubenica which means “watermelon.”

Many thanks!
