What are fphover.class and fphoverx.class?

I noticed that FrontPage makes these files, and they take up a Meg of space each. What’s their purpose?

These files are for your hover buttons and controls. FP includes them if you do any sort of mouseover effects and the like which require action when you hover the mouse cursor over an item.

It’s to handle the mouse-over stuff. Here’s a flashback to 1997.

They’re Java files that you can use in FrontPage to make little link buttons that change color when you hover over them. In practice, they’re obnoxious.

Do you have many differnt types of hover buttons? I have one type of hover button and my files are 9323 bytes for fphover.class and 1476 for fphoverx.class.

1M seems pretty huge for a short script.
