What are some fun stuff to add to a wedding registry?

That’s a great idea. I definitely know people like that.

Another idea that I don’t think anyone has mentioned: a toilet plunger. You’ll laugh to see it wrapped in pretty paper, but you’ll be really glad later because when you need it, you need it right now.

Sur La Table has a gift registry, but Home Depot and Ikea don’t, which surprises me.

Hello Again, those are some good ideas.

This kid I grew up with put a few “man cave” items on his registry. I remember one item was a Spiderman pillow, in the “kids’ bedroom” section at Target.

Since I was his friend and didn’t quite know her, and since I sometimes find that most registry items are bo-ring, I totally snapped that up as their gift from me.

I put an $8,500 Gibson “Flying V” on mine. Looked to be the most expensive expensive guitar on Amazon. No takers so far.

We put a tent on ours and got it from someone who thought it was a great idea. Still have the tent after years of use.

I also scanned some funny things like Preperation H (or similar).

of picnic baskets registered for: 0.

of picnic baskets received: 5.

I guess we need to go on some picnics.

We registered for a KitchenAid mixer; didn’t get it. We also registered at Replacements to fill in some holes in the dinnerware service we inherited from my parents.

A comprehensive set of roadmaps by a well known publisher.

That’s part of what we loved about our Target registry. I put some power tools on there, a new DVD player, some board games, etc. My husband even stole the laser gun and registered for beef jerky and Spongebob Band-Aids. It was a fun registry. I mean, we had the traditional stuff, towels, sheets, etc., but we also had some fun stuff.
