NCOV2019 was developed by a high school student, and I like it but it has two categories I can’t figure out.
If you look at Illinois for example it says 2 people have recovered. Well Illinois was one of the first states to have a case, but I would think more than two people have had it and recovered. So that “recovered” definition must mean something more.
If you look at the column for serious, the icon seems to indicate a hospitalization. But again, Illinois according to this has zero. Which doesn’t seem right either.
Any ideas? Thanks.

I’m going to guess that “recovered” means “tested negative,” not “asymptomatic.” There are lots of people who at one point had serious symptoms, albeit, were able to convalesce at home, and then were eventually back to themselves, and resumed all normal activities. They’ve been assumed to be recovered, but tests being precious, if they were not healthcare workers, did not live with a compromised person, or were not living with compromised factors themselves.
The Worldometer site also has columns for recovered and serious, but I don’t consider the numbers in them to be at all accurate. Much less accurate than the total cases and deaths, which I expect are mostly undercounts. So I just ignore those numbers.
They’ve recently added a column for number of tests given, but that’s probably just as inaccurate. Consider that several countries have supposedly given fewer tests than total cases…
I know the site pulls from official numbers and whenever I listen to a radio or TV person quoting number, I check it and it matches so it is pulling in some “official” numbers.
