From what I’ve seen of Kerry and Edwards in debates, I haven’t noticed any real differences in their politcal views. Can we start a list of them here?
Please don’t turn this into a debate. I’m just looking for factual answers and really couldn’t give a hoot what your opinions are about theirs in this thread.
Ideologically speaking Kerry is the seasoned, New England Swamp Yankee Democrate, and Edwards is the open, Southern, young buck Democrate that will even out the scale between the two. From my thread in GD, Edwards would not have been the first choice for Kerry, but the more calculated choice, thus the news this morning.
I know little about Edwards to answer your OP more succinctly, but I Kerry is a staunch supporter of Educational issues, Children’s rights, and protecting the environment. And Edwards mirrors Kerry’s educational opinions, and further’s them with protecting peoples civil liberties and is dedicated to homeland security…
Edwards
