Damn, now I want some! And I go for the Cocoa Pepples myself.
White Castles
Cocoa Pebbles
Sharp cheddar cheese
Cella’s milk-chocolate covered cherries (gotta be Cella’s, no other brand will do)
New England clam chowder
Beer
Ramen (Beef or Oriental)
Frozen Fried Chicken
Frozen French Fries
Dr. Pepper
Dave’s Total Insanity Sauce (Because everything needs to be a little bit spicier.)
Frozen Pizza (Whatever’s on sale.)
Toast
Tuna (from a can)
Lets see… I don’t have my own place but when I was with Mom I usually did the cooking and stuff so I know what I would have mostly in my kitchen…
Chicken
Beef (mainly steak and ground)
Chinese Veggies
Steamed Noodles
Terriaki Sauce
Onions
Potatoes
Rice
Carrots
Kidney Beans
Beef Broth
Ketchup
Cheesies
Nuts and Bolts
Cola
Mainly its stuff that I can make a quick stir-fry, chili, stew or just steak and potatoes with… plus the munchies for when I forget to cook for a long time and I’m starving before I have the chance to cook something substantial.
Over the past year, I have determined that my staple foods are seasonal.
Spring/summer:[ul]Beef.
Hot dogs.
Surimi with cocktail sauce.
Bread (it’s too hot to bake in summer).
Potatoes (for grilling).[/ul]Autumn/Winter:[ul]Flour and yeast (breadmaking).
Canned chicken broth (excellent for making beans, rice, and pea soup).
Potatoes (Frozen, but some fresh for steaming or baking).
Pork & bacon.
Chicken.
Cornish game hens (excellent for a Thanksgiving-for-one dinner).
Frozen biscuits (not those imitation things that come in a can).
White gravy mix (the can proudly declares "With real roux!)
Brown gravy mix.[/ul]The gravy mixes are for when I’m just too @#$% lazy to make it from scratch.
As far as spices, condiments, and other items go, I must have[ul]Salt.
Pepper.
Garlic powder.
Onion powder.
Paprika.
Parsely.
Basil.
Bay leaves (my mom’s neighbor grows them, so mom sends me some whenever I run low – Thanks, mom!)
Cayenne pepper.
Chili powder.
Various chili sauces ranging from quite mild to Only use a single drop you idiot and keep a glass of milk handy!
Olive oil.
Canola.
Lemon or lime juice.
White vinegar.
Pam (or functional equivalent).
Cocoa powder.
Vanilla extract.
Powdered sugar.
Brown sugar.[/ul]
Sheesh! I just realized I’m giving you guys the Reader’s Digest version of my list. I’ll spare you the details of the real list. Even I don’t know what all I’ve got, but whenever I run out, I gotta go get some more.
Whoa! I currently have a bag of sugar, a half-jar of bread-n-butter pickles, a package of hot dogs, a bottle of catsup, a jar of alfredo sauce and some outdated orange juice in the fridge. (Roommate does the cooking and shopping.
This ought to be interesting. Thanks guys!

I must be the most low-maintenance person on the board. I don’t need food in my house at all. The first thing I look for when I shearch for a new apartment is a Taco Bell within a 2 mile radius.
