You know who else tends to have naturally bare pubic areas? Women past menopause. Why is it always a barely veiled accusation of pedophilia when someone says they prefer shaved? Why isn’t it assumed that they’re secretly into cougars?

Pubic hair thins after menopause, and by the time they’re into “elderly”, there’s often nothing left. Which, I admit, makes diaper changes easier.

I started trimming and then shaving when I was 16 years old, right after I started having sex. I had never seen a porn. I have from time to time grown it out for various reasons and every time I hated it. Couldn’t feel anything, felt dirty, etc, hated the way it looked.
This, I really don’t understand. What’s your position on deep kisses and oral then? Because I really can’t see that licking someone’s skin could be worse than licking said someone’s, uh, “privates” or the inside of his/her mouth…
I find women with long hair, while not really unsexy, just bland. A shortish haircut looks feisty and a lot fresher. It’s a lot more practical too.
Oh yes and spitting is really disgusting, I don’t care in what situation. If you need to lubricate, do it with some decency.
Dirty talk is an instant turn-off and makes me go : “uhm, what ?!”.

And smelly. It may be normal, but you can still not like it. Ditto shaving legs and arms (and face for the guyz)
And I’ve heard plenty of guys say they shave their face because they feel sweaty and sticky and itchy in the summer with a beard. Doesn’t mean they think guys with beards are dirty, just that they, personally, feel cleaner clean shaven.
Not everything is about you, dude. She said she feels dirty when she doesn’t shave. I seriously doubt she gives a fuck about your wife or whoever you’re being outraged on behalf of.

Sheesh, folks do what they do for LOTS of reasons. Around here, they need to run it past legal before they state that preference, otherwise, they’ll be villified by one sex, and condemned to a life of psychotherapy by the other…(with a little dose of paedophilia thrown in)
You folks take yourselves WAY to seriously. Some folks like it natural, others like it short-cropped, others like it bare.
Having tried all three, bare feels good but is a bitch for upkeep and ingrown hairs suck. Wild tangly is HOT, SWEATY, SMELLY, and harder to clean up after a wank (if I must be crude). I’m currently experimenting with a #1 clipper as the Beard trimmer has a whole, unused, cutter I’m not otherwise using.

Data point on the pubic hair thing: in the past couple of years, I’ve had a couple of relationships. One was with a woman a bit older than I am (early forties). The other was with a woman a bit younger than I am (mid-twenties). The older lady was proudly trimmed to a glisten. The younger let it grow. I don’t think she even trimmed, though her hair was ‘naturally’ on the short side.
Someone really should do a poll on this…

Also keep in mind some people sweat more than others. Some people SHOWER more than others. And yes, some people SMELL more than others.
And I’m not going to debate this to the point my hygiene is a target. Winning this random Internet Debate is not high on my list of things to accomplish today.
It just seems to be a very common trope these days that women who don’t shave their beavers are “dirty,” and that something that used to be nothing but a porn kink is now (because of the prevalence of porn) perceived as some kind of necessary part of hygiene. That’s nonsense. If people enjoy the kink, fine, but it’s got nothing to do with hygiene (and it doesn’t eliminate odor).
Is shaving your pits a kink? Cutting your hair?
You’re using the logical fallacy that because shaving has ONE reason (Porn stars do it so you can see more) that that is the ONLY reason people do it.
We might as well be debating why people don’t wear hats more often.
People shave because (amongst other things) it FEEEEEELS BETTTER. Really. More nerve endings are in contact with more stuff. You should try it.
I think it only counts as chivalry when there’s nothing in it for you. Or me, rather.
