What are those plastic labels you get from a 30 minute oil change?

I have some labels from several quick change, 30 minute oil change places. What are those labels called, and can I make my own using my ink-jet printer?

The only labels I got were the ones stating when I got the oil change, at which facility, and when I should get the oil changed again, but the label also functioned as a discount coupon.

They’re made using thermal transfer ink ribbons.

You can buy a whole pack of oil change reminder labels from amazon cheaply.

If you’re thinking a little more generally, Avery makes a wide variety of printable labels - here’s a link to their site.
The link takes you to the removable stickers and labels, by the way.

It’s static cling vinyl.
Don’t suggest home based ink jet because they typically use water based inks, which of course is susceptible to water/moisture damage.
Write on it with a ‘Sharpie’.
Be sure to specify window cling if that’s where it will be applied. Some is more suited to interior walls etc.
The prices shown by following the link supplied above (MBR Marketing) is wayyyy too much. Find a label printer (shop) in your area.

As someone who does their own oil changes on their cars, thank you! I’m going to order some of these tonight!

Because of how well they stick to the window, I call them Colorforms.
