What are those unspeakable truths but too afraid to say them)

It’s not the pants that are making your butt look big, it’s your butt.

You had me, man. And then you lost me. Do you really believe that the Media decided to elect Bush? The so-called Liberal media? Hell, do you think The Media wanted Bush over McCain?

I’m sorry, man, I just don’t see it.

It’s more important to be kind than it is be honest.

Most people are good, most of the time. Most people don’t deserve your cynicism.

The “liberal media” is a myth. The right-wing status quo in the U.S. is more profitable for the media, so they support it.

Not all men are created equal. There are many people who will never amount to anything useful. Some people are simply smarter, better looking, stronger, and healthier than others.

God does not love you.

The term “inner beauty” is used almost exclusively by shallow/stupid people. Truly “deep” people don’t need a metaphor to understand the concept of a person having merits far beyond his/her physical appearance.

Yes, your bum does look big in that.

Yes, the hairdresser has totally fucked your hair, and no, it won’t “wash out right” or “settle” in a few days - it’ll be crap for a month or more.

Life is easier if you’re rich.

Life is easier if you’re beautiful.

Life is easier if you’re thin.

And the biggest truth?

If you are thin, rich, and beautiful, you can fuck off because the rest of us hate you

Spelling counts, grammar less so.

The relative legal and social status of marijuana vs. tobacco is irrational.

People make a first impression of you based on your verbal skills, sex, body type, race, jewlery, and shoes, though not necessarily in that order.

Stereotypes are endemic, and are usually to good effect.

The political process is designed to discourage voter involvement.

There has never been a ‘liberal media.’

The Greens:The Democrats:The Republicans::Martin Luther King:Malcom X:Segregation

Color separation is key, detergent less so

The teaching process is designed to encourage parental involvement, they just don’t get any.

There is no correlation between the amount of money per student in public school systems and the education each student recieves.

There is a correlation between that money and the cost of school construction.

A culture’s repect for intelligence, education, hard work, and family correlates with acheivement, earnings, and social stability.

The slavery reparations movement is a classic racist hustle.

Ceding land to the indians so that they can make Casinos for the White Man is absurd karmic justice.

People who inherit or win money usually wish they hadn’t.

The best happiness comes over the longest term.

I think that life tends to be easier for stupid people. Nearly every school in the U.S. spends enormous amounts of money to bring the underachievers up to a normal level of intelligence and capability, while us “smart kids” get what, Honors courses?, which everybody knows just means more work. I see stupid teenagers passing classes that they jack around in all day, just because they are popular or play sports or know how to suck up very well.

You guys are brilliant! I wen taway for the weekend and I come back with these ownderful gems to my post! THinking about it , I probably shouldn’t have used the word “truth” but rather “what is your unspeakable opinion” – but oh well.

I have another one:

“While I pray that I never become disabled, or want any of my loved ones to become disabled – there are just some disabled persons who should not be working in the consumer industry because they are too disabled”

“Speaking of 9/11, most politicans secretly believe it was the best thing that ever happened to their carreers”

“Whoopi Goldberg and Gerrison Keeler just aren’t funny”

“Most journalist think they are they news rather than just reporting it”

“Old people, as a rule, are far more dangerous behind the road than young people are”

“I could never understand why most war veterans want to stop flag burning. Didn’t most make terrible selfless sacrifices so a small minority of people could make such unpatriotic statements?”

“Life is fair – for a few”

“Pamela Anderson is rather unattractive”

“For some strange reason Martha Stewart is attractive to me”

“JFK Jr. had tremendous potential, but really did nothing with it – same with Lady Di”

William Poundstone was right about Cecil.

Malthus was right, too.

Disabled people aren’t special. They are human beings just like everybody else. But disabled.

  1. On their deathbed nobody ever wishes they spent more time at the office.

  2. Money is the cheapest way to pay for something.

Pauly Shore is not funny.

Prime-time TV is filled with unwatchable dreck.

Jeffrey Dahmer got what he deserved.

O.J. Simpson murdered his ex-wife and Ron Goldman.

Craig Kilborn is a smarmy, arrogant, no-talent hack.

Gandhi always wanted a 12 oz. ribeye.

Shirley MacLaine is a total fruitcake.

Keanu Reeves is not a very good actor.

Most politicians are self-serving hypocrites.

My contributions:

Stupid people are breeding faster than smart people.

Everything causes cancer.

No matter how many megavitamins you take, how often per week you go to the gym, or how many high colonics you endure, you are going to die.

As I can testify from a decade of fighting weight, and only recently succeeding…

There is only one way to lose weight - stop eating so much.

Stop buying into diets, gym memberships, videos, fat-burner pills, uppers, downers, in-betweeners, books, and every single fad drink that comes your way. Stop making excuses about being too busy, “the kids demand fast food and I have to eat it too”, “my husband/wife/parents force me to”, etc, etc.

Track your calories, and eat less.

And yes, it is harder than kicking a drug addiction. In fact, it is one of the hardest things you can ever do, for some people. You will suffer, and you will feel like dying, for weeks on end. And this is why most will fail.

But the fact remains…stop eating so much, and you must lose weight. The First Law commands it, and it will be so.

Yes, your body will fight you by changing your metabolism. You can fight through it, and the energy level will return. For me, I had to feel like absolute shit for a solid month. But it does, and must, work.

If you cannot do it, it does not mean you are a bad person. If you don’t want to do it, it does not mean you are a bad person. On the absolute contrary - whatever weight you are: you are who you are, and people should - no, people must - love and appreciate you for being you.

And remember, you are “people” too. Love yourself.

But if, I repeat, if you want to lose weight, or are ordered by your physician to do so, there is ultimately only one real, surefire way. You know it, I know it, we all know it, so stop making excuses. Stop spending untold $$$ making scam artists richer, and start taking control of your life.

Jack Dean Tyler was RIGHT!

The “Good Old Days” are a load of crap. Things are better, on average, now than they’ve ever been.

And when you die, you are probably going to be a dribbling, incontinent imbecile, because Alzheimers is on the rise, folks!

Just one of the many consequences of living to a ripe old age!

“Friends” and “The Simpsons” are two of the worst television shows ever.

Jay Leno is the most annoying person in the world.

Neighbors should have the right to stone those neighbors who don’t mow their grass at least every two weeks. (Next door neighbor bought a brand new riding mower a month ago and has YET to use it. Gimme some rocks now!)

Money can buy happiness.

Odds are, you’re not fat because of a glandular condition.

You’re definitely not big-boned, either.

In any situation, regardless of the field or stated system of organization, a small number will become leaders and the rest will follow.

Corollaries:

  1. Regardless of what they say about democracy and equal rights, a large percentage of people want to follow someone who tells them what to do.
  2. Most people getting involved in causes are just following their friends

Star Wars was good, but c’mon, people.

Most things just aren’t anyone’s god-damned business.
