Do you notice how the news shows non-stop “Amber alert” cases, where little children are missing and murdered --it creates a national sensation. Remember Jon Benet Ramsy? Well did you you ever notice that the vast majority of these children in the news are adorable little white middle class children? Of course, these cases are horriffic, but as a white middle class person myself, I often wonder – aren’t there any poor minority children getting abducted or murdered that are newsworthy?
A college in the Northeast US, Williams College, is currently having an art exhibit on the works of Adolf Hitler. There are making a huge media blitz and are claiming they are showing these “boring unorginal works of art” to show that Hitler did not have an orginal thought and that his work is merely copies of other works – which shows his cold callous heart . . .
That is such BS!!! I believe they simply wanted to show something made by Hitler because it was, well, made by Hitler and it would be a great draw for those with morbid curiosity. They had to come up with some BS theory so people wouldn’t be outraged that they are giving Hitler attention.
Smokers are among the largest group of polluters in this world. Not only with the smoke. Just take a look at the curb at any traffic signal or stop sign. None of those cigarette butts, casually thrown out of the car window, are going to decompose. . . . ever.
Gambling addiction is more destructive and costs the US more money than any illegal drug addiction.
