What are you favorite berries? [multiple choice]

Halle Berry.

I won’t go into the details of how I would enjoy that.

I suggest you check in with Michael Douglas before indulging.

Hood River strawberries, which will be coming into local stores next week. We have a patch of them in our yard, but we buy flats of them and can them for winter.

Second would be wild blueberries, not those tasteless farmed things you get at the grocery. Also huckleberries and gooseberries.

Well, Marvin Berry wasn’t there, so I went with his cousin.

blackberries, no contest. big, ripe, black, plump, juicy blackberries.

nice red strawberries are pretty high up the list too. but nothing beats blackberries, for me.

Now I want some blackberry or raspberry and rhubarb pie
This liquid diet sucks

Marionberry.

(not to be confused with Marion Berry or Robert Marion Berry)

Raspberries might just be my favorite food ever . . .drooool . . .

Especially talking on a BlackBerry.

Then there’s Debi Derryberry.

(Now all I want to know is: How much dairy dares Debi Derryberry bury if… oh, never mind.)

Your poll has omitted both Franken and Boo.

Wine, wine, wine (Elderberry!)
Wine, wine, wine (Or sherry!)
Wine, wine, wine (Blackberry!)
Wine, wine, wine (Half and half!)
Wine, wine, wine (Oh boy!)
Pass that bottle to me

O.K., elderberry wins.

Nom nom nom, for certain.

My “others” are tayberries and marionberries. And I adore blackcaps but they don’t have berry in the name.

Nice try, but they are neither fruits nor rock 'n roll pioneers.
mmm

In retrospect, I see now that I did NOT give this topic the consideration it deserves.

Not a big fan of eating berries as they come, but I’ll happily eat gooseberries in a crumble with a big dollop of clotted cream, and raspberries in a home-made smoothie with bananas and OJ.

Blueberries or blackberries. On another note, I have recently been purchasing dandelion greens (organic) at one of the major organic grocery stores, and I find that I really like them in salads. I got tired of eating spinach, and dandelion greens are an excellent substitute. I combine the dandelion greens with lettuce and olive oil and vinegar. Getting back to the berries, they all are good, but pancakes with blueberries is tops in my book!

As long as they aren’t dingle berries.

other: Algerita berries

You, I like you! The lack of Saskatoon berries in the poll made me sad.
