What are you going to do today?....Or What have you done today?

Let’s just said I had a very good morning.

Work will blow, like it always does.

The evening will be filled with making dinner, checking homework and messing around online.

I assume tonight will echo this morning…

Got up at 7:00, showered, do make-up and hair and to work by 8:00.

Enter timesheets from last Friday for employees, pay company bills and pay personal bills and mail.

Home for lunch then back to the office for a couple of hours of SDMB.

I will leave for the airport at 4:00 p.m. to pick Mr. Golf up from his business trip to Indianoplis. We will probably stop somewhere at Disney for a quick dinner, then home to veg in front of the T.V.

Got an epidural steroid injection at my orthopedist. It was not fun.

Sorry Jimmy, but my day won’t get much more exciting than this:

[ul][li]6:30 – Woke up, got breakfast for the kids, drove my son to kindergarten, drove to work.[/li][li]8:00 - 5:30 – Work, with occasional SDMB reading (time permitting).[/li][li]5:45 – Take my son and daughter to swim lessons[/li][li]6:30 – Skip dinner, take my son to his soccer game[/li][li]7:30 – Put the kiddies to bed so that at…[/li][li]8:00 – Monday Night Football![/li]11:00 or so – go to bed, try not to wake wife who most likely went to bed hours ago.[/ul]

the past:
1:00 AM: Got home from the Nascar race at Dover. Promptly fell asleep.

6:00 AM: Alarm clock rang. Got up, looked at it, turned it off, went to bed. No way I’m going to school today.

10:00 AM: Woke up. Cleaned my room, changed the papers in the bottom of my parakeet’s cage. Went online.

12:00 PM: Ate lunch. Played a little guitar. Went back online.

3:00 PM: Mom and dad got home.

the future:
4:00 PM: Dad hooks the cable TV in my room back up. Neither one of us can remember why it was disconnected in the first place.

4:30 PM: I call my friend Carlee and talk til we get called to dinner.

6:00 PM: Dinner.

7:00 PM: Either more internet, or more guitar.

8:00 PM: WCW Monday Nitro on my newly-reconnected cable.

9:00 PM: More redneck time-wastin’: WWF Monday Night Raw.

11:00 PM: Write in journal.

11:30 PM: Go to bed.

Tomorrow it’s back to school. Wednesday and Thursday it’s school then work. Saturday and Sunday it’s just work.

9:20 AM. Woke up. Told Brian the time. He said he could sleep for 25 minutes and still make it to his meeting on time.

9:50 AM. Woke Brian up, to his chagrin.

10:10 AM. After getting up and getting dressed, I ran out to the bagel place next door to get the bagels that Brian was taking to his meeting. Ended up getting 4 plain, 2 poppyseed, 2 blueberry, 2 asiago cheese, 2 honey wheat, and 1 salt (there’s always that freak who loves the salt bagels), as well as 2 containers of plain cream cheese, one lowfat.

10:25 AM. After returning home, I got Brian out the door to his 11:00 meeting downtown.

10:30 AM. Stopped at the ATM. Withdrew $20.

10:35 AM. Picked up some Advil to carry around with me in my backpack.

10:40 AM. Went to bagel place, ordered a cinnamon raisin bagel, toasted, with plain cream cheese, banana slices, and cinnamon, and a medium orange juice.

11:03 AM. Finished eating, stepped outside, said a silent prayer to the effect that Brian would kick ass at his meeting.

11:15 AM. Got to class.

11:30 AM. Class started. Philosophy 460, which is “Theories of Knowledge.” Talked about the common definition of knowledge (person S knows proposition h, if h is true, S believes h is true, and S is justified in believing that h is true) and discussed situations in which those three conditions are met but person S still does not have knowledge of proposition h.

1:18 PM: Rushed across the Oval in the rain to catch my bus.

1:30 PM: Caught my bus, barely.

1:45 PM: Got downtown.

1:48 PM: Caught my connector bus to work.

1:55 PM: Arrived at the campus where I work.

2:10 PM: Sat down with my lunch. Chicken parmigiana, pasta, corn, and mashed potatoes (yes, it is a cafeteria, why do you ask?) and a 20 oz. bottle of Dr Pepper.

2:20 PM: Finished lunch. I’m a quick eater when I’m alone.

2:25 PM: Printed out a copy of the LSAC letter of recommendation form from the computer lab and filled out the required sections.

2:35 PM: Met with a former professor (whose office hours were SUPPOSED to start at 2:30, damn it) and gave him the form. Chatted a while about school and Brian, who he met once ages ago.

2:55 PM: Finally got to work. Since then, I’ve started a paper, filled the printers a few times, and began this post.

3:35 PM: Now. Noticed that Falcon was online, started a conversation with her.

I don’t have any plans until…

7:23 PM: Leave work.

8:15 PM (or thereabouts): Get home. Possibly make something to eat.

9:00 PM: Watch Monday Night Football.

1:00 AM: Start worrying about whether or not Brian made it home, if he hasn’t already.

0615 in the morning, wake up, use restroom, can’t fall back asleep, hate that.
0745 get up, shower.
0800 boot up Codex (Computers in my apt: Codex, Grimoire, Librum, and Tome (Sense a theme here?)) and check out my morning nettoons (User Friendly, Kevin and Kell, Ozzy and Millie, FreeFall) Talk with friend who lives in Australia via ICQ. Check Da Dope.
0845 Head out to work.
0930 meet with boss, talk about projects.
1000 have meeting with boss and my techs, discuss new methodology for test board design. Takes two hours to hash out layout choices and part specs.
1230 Hour for lunch.
1330 Start working on software to test various chip functions.
1530 Take break, Check Da Dope.

Future:
1800 Go home, boot up Grimoire, play Icewind Dale until 1915.
1930 Go to Bay Area SF Association meeting, enjoy pizza and Sci-fi talk.
2100 Drive home, log on and talk with friends.
2355 Shut down computer, curse the fact that the bed isn’t filled with an attractive lady also into SF and RPG’s. Crash, still bemoaning the fate.

I wish I had Your alls lifes… thats not a joke either.

I got a job today. I start tomorrow.

And ditto all that stuff Demo said.

Lessee…

6:30am–jumped out of bed and did my morning ritual: wash face, take shower, do hair, find clothes, get school stuff together.
7:30am–caught the big yellow twinkie, endured torture by sitting in front seat away from little demons (a senior riding the bus, pathetic, no?) and dozing.
7:50am–school starts by now. Went to Art III, Government.
3rd period, the teacher didn’t show up for Spanish, since I’m the only Span IV student in a class of Span IIs, I proclaimed myself the teacher and somehow taught class and went over a worksheet with them. By the time sub came in, he meekly sat in the back and kept quiet while I paced about the front of the room and lounged in the teacher’s chair; ah, power is sweet. welfish laugh
Blah blah blah, on to writing class, Calculus, Psychology, lunch, Chorus, College Prep class. Stayed after school to make up a Beowulf test in College Prep. Chatted with the teacher like an old friend.
4:00pm–went home with my aunt, sat at table and chatted with Mom on my Spanish teaching much to her amusement. Worked on homework, watched a bit of television, called boyfriend Ray.
5:00pm–dinner (some yummy chicken stuff), then more homework, then I decided to go online. I’ve been working on homework, talking to people and reading the board.
7:00pm–a friend from South Carolina, Persia, called. She went on a mission trip with me. I miss her.

The rest of my night will be filled with more homework (oh happy joy!) and visiting my grandma across the road. I feel really evil since I haven’t visited her in a month. Then maybe if I’m lucky I’ll get some sleep.

During the lunch hour I went down to the local newspaper and had my photo taken for my editorial article.

How about logging into SDMB for the first time since May? For some reason, I’ve been unable to access this board because of my proxy server. They finally sent us a patch for it. I’m not even gonna TRY to keep up with what I’ve missed.

Finallly got to see the docttor this afternnoon. Told me to takee some cold medicine and gave mee something for the upper respiratory infecction. (!?) I’m going to slleep for a long timme.
'Nightt.

At work, I managed to write a one-page response paper for my English class tomorrow, as well as the rough draft of my personal essay for law school apps. It’s 709 words, which is WAY TOO LONG, and I’ve already cut it down from 796. I want to get it down to 600, and that’s still too long, but okay. I hate writing about things I can talk about forever. This would be a perfect four-page essay. Problem is, I have about a page and a half to write it in.

For dinner, I made tomato ramen with tabasco sauce, and now I’m watching MNF, as planned. Brian called from the road at 9:30. He was in Bland, VA, and expected to be home 3.5 hours after he called. So I’ve moved my worry time to 2:00.

Awwwwwwwwww yeeeeeeeaaaaah…
Demo had beer for breakfast!

I just hope Satan doesn’t find out about this Brian guy …

:: g,d &r … ::

Let’s see… Walked to class, had a lecture from 10-11, then spent 2 hours in the library, then grabbed a sandwich on the way to the computer lab, then at 2 saw my thesis advisor to get my topic approved. (Fortunately, it was.) Then I walked home, and have spent the rest of the evening feeling miserable as I seem to have caught a cold. Ugh…
