(A 2nd or 3rd gen Buzz that came with a small Mr. Potato-Head and some green soldiers, and a Woody from the same set that came with swappable hats including a US cavalry hat and a WWII helmet with general’s stars).
Those plus 3 stuffed toys (a bear, a small dog, and a cat) have proved the most “durable” of Alex’s toys.
He’s 10 now and computer games and Nerf guns figure more than other toys, but those 5 toys still have special status.
My son’s favorite toys are his costumes (Optimus Prime has gained favor over pirates) and his trains.
My daughter’s favorites are a little harder to tell. She’s only 2 and just getting into actual toys. Her favorites change from her brother’s old dinosaurs, a leaptop and her brother’s trains (he has old ones he lets her play with). She sometimes likes dolls, but overall her favorite playtime activity is to push me over and roll around on my head.
