Man of Constant Sorrow? It’s a traditional song, recorded many times by many, many artists. However, the Soggy Bottom Boys are, of course, fake, though the singing in the movie O Brother Where Art Thou? was done by Dan Tyminski of Union Station, Allison Krauss’ band.
The replies here have brought a lot of memories back. Forgot all about Bad News (“For you, and you, and you, and YOUUUU!!”) and Billy & the Boingers. But, like everyone else, I’d have to give the nod to the Tap.
Three Small Words rocks, too. There’s a lot of good songs in that movie. In fact the only one I don’t really like is their version of the title song. Which isn’t bad, even, but I just prefer Juliana Hatfield and Tonya Donelly’s version of the J&tPC theme from Saturday Morning’s Greatest Hits.
