This was already suggested by @kenobi_65, so if you have an alternative…
Jack in the Green - Jethro Tull
Jacob’s Ladder - Rush
Jeffrey Goes To Leicester Square - Jethro Tull
Jocko Homo - Devo
Just Because - Jane’s Addiction
Well, not my favorite ‘J’ songs, but all B+ or better. And maybe Jackpot is a real favorite.
Just One Victory — Todd Rundgren
Juke Box Fury — Rickie Lee Jones
Jennifer Juniper — Donovan
Jaguar and Thunderbird — Chuck Berry
Jackpot — The English Beat
Jenny Says - Cowboy Mouth
James K. Polk - They Might Be Giants
Jesus Walking on the Water - Violent Femmes
I have one song left to choose, but I still have seven or eight no one else has picked. If I wait, I may miss out, so my last one is…
- Jazzman - Carole King
^I had it down to two, but I had to leave out a really good one.
Psst, Saucy:
It was on my list, too.
mmm
Hehe, I thought about that song yesterday and could have smacked myself to not have posted it, but then I asked myself “Has @scabpicker already posted in the J thread? No.” And I was relieved, because I just knew you would pick it.
James James
Morrison Morrison
Weatherby George Dupree
Took great
Care of his Mother,
Though he was only three.
(From: ‘Disobedience’, by A A Milne.)
This isn’t a song AFAIK, so will probably be disallowed for irrelevance. But, if not, it may bring a nostalgic memory to some.
Heheh, I almost left it off. Then I listened to the Redline/Whiteline remix of it linked above, and as the song says “there was only one thing I could do”

Above post in response to tnis:
I only know about 60 of these 157 (approx) songs. To listen to the other 97 would take, ohhh, 8 hours — factoring in searching and Youtube ads. And some/most of the songs could take 2–5 listens to fairly appreciate — ideally over the course of multiple days.
Might take four days or more. And there’s a lot of distractions this time of year, what with shopping and trip planning. Advice?
