Like what? Invasion, torture, slavery, murder, genocide?
Atheists are just as stupid as theist in their certainty that a god definitely cannot exist, wheres your proof?
Black people are inherently inclined to a life of crime, and white people are for the most part racists who hide their true feelings because of guilt.
The British colonies should not have become independent.
People are fools for believing in monogamy.
People who support Israel are ignorant to the terrorist acts the Israelis commit on a regular basis, yet hark on about militant Islam.

Nakedness is OK
Advertisement on TV is often fake, manipulative, and can be blinding
It is okay to want to sleep with a woman just because she is sexy
Women shouldn’t wear makeup at least as the norm (generally).
Graffitti oftentimes can be cool and makes the thing better, gives it more soul
I know this is very controversial, but I like cats and dogs, too.
I do not support our troops. I do not say “Thank you for your service.”
I don’t like cats. I don’t like them at all.
-Gays are perhaps… well… maybe wrong. If we can’t fuck animals or cousins then there IS a sexual realm of perversion. Gay might be among it. Perhaps masturbation, anal, or BJs. And I have heard the argument: they don’t have a choice. Well, if you feel an intense desire for dogs is it proper to fuck them? (And I am not saying it is like that, but I think it may be)
-There is a god and a hell and a heaven
-Racism. In certain cases is not bad. Its okay to have a preference for a style of tree, or even not like some of them aesthetically. Same principle for race. Just don’t kill people for color.
-People base their identities and lives on the memes that society and tv have told them, they live a life of delusion, and die serving causes which were not there own
-The ‘have to slave most of your life away for money’ ideal that we all live by sucks. But so does not having the stuff that being productive brings.
Banging the cousins is okay depending on where you live and which cousin you're talking about:
Abortion is not only fine, it’s no big fucking deal. Traumatic abortion stories are overrepresented and many if not most women are affected minorly if at all.
“Christians” who waste their time picketing at Planned Parenthood or trying to stop gays from getting married are not Christlike.
Rapists should be castrated. So should anyone who commits a sex crime against a child. Not sure what the female equivalent is for the relatively small number of female offenders but go for it.
Any kind of “deviant” sexuality that takes place between consenting adults is NBD.
Well, shoot. Now that I know I can’t marry my cousin, I kind of want to.
Straight-ish woman who completely agrees w/ #2 here. As long as it’s consensual, it’s fine!
Consensual advertising??
ETA: unless you meant to say #3. Which I’m sure you did.
Right? She kept that shit real. It’s hard to share my take on the matter of women, work, and child-rearing, because it’s a pretty complicated issue. In short, I uhh, kind of think women who have children should stay home and raise them. Now mind you, I do not agree with all of her post, and as someone who never intends to have children, I certainly don’t buy into the idea that a woman’s place is shackled to the kitchen and nursery, tending babies and makin’ dinner for her man, and sure as fuck don’t think all women deep down inside long to be housewives. But I gotta say, a lot of me thinks when you have kidlets, the mother should stay in and raise the child, not nurse it to her satisfaction, then send it off to daycare. She’s free to have a career, but I don’t think careers and children really mix. Part of the reason I never intend to procreate is I believe I would need to stay home to raise my child until he was at like, let’s say 5, and such a life sounds *really *unsatisfactory to me; I would feel bad if I did anything else. Plus I don’t really like kids, so there’s that. And of course, in the real world, this POV leads to a really shitty deal for women in the workplace, so…
Oh yeah, poor people are pretty much fucked. “Upward mobility” is for the most part a myth. And I am beyond aggravated by people who say shit like “Well if poor people didn’t buy rims for their cars…” I guess my opinion on that matter is such statements are not-so-cleverly disguised racism. Your dog whistle language isn’t fooling anyone.
So racism is okay, so long as you don’t kill anyone over race? Okay.
:smack: Though consensual advertising isn’t a bad idea.
I agree with both of those!
As for unpopular opinions of my own: I don’t think guilt beyond a reasonable doubt should be enough to lock someone up; proof of actual harm should also be required, and among that proof, the name of an actual victim! In other words, it isn’t enough to prove they did the deed, they should also have to prove that some specific individual(s) were negatively affected by the deed.
The prosecutor should be the counsel for the victim; the state should not be allowed to be party to anything not involving tax fraud or theft from the state as a business.
So, if some lunatic shoots a gun into a crowd and misses, we can’t do anything to them until next time when they succeed? Well, maybe you’d count that as harm since it would traumatize people. So let’s say they tried to bomb an orphanage but the bomb didn’t go off, so the orphans didn’t know about it. No harm no foul?
This is definitely true about anti-bullying programs in schools.
Here’s another of mine: I don’t think David Sedaris is funny.
Now I can’t let*** that ***statement go unchallenged!
And just how do you know that about beer, hmmmmmmmm?
A few of mine:
I disapprove of people who would otherwise be married living together without being married.
I don’t believe in drugs as a form of recreation.
I don’t accept evolution–ref. the definition given in the Oxford English Dictionary.
My position on movies (already known to The Teeming Millions).
I don’t like to use rhetoric–that is, not saying what I mean; completely figurative language.
Very well put. So many conservatives and libertarians say, “If only people would do a and b and c they could THRIVE in America!”
Well many people don’t want to be a whitebread Republican conservative, which is really what is being advocated, they’d like to be who they are and have enough money to eat and live and eat out occasionally and sometimes go on vacation, just like whitebread conservatives. They even would be happy to work to do it. They just don’t want to be the man in the stuffed shirt, the woman in the ticky tacky house. Is that so hard to understand?
Yes, yes it is.
