What are your qualifications?

Based on my vast experience playing SimCity, I think I would be a better Secretary of Housing and Urban Development than Dr Carson.

Plus I’m awake more of the time than he is.

I have absolutely no qualifications … which, judging by the last election, qualifies me to be President.

Secretry of the Treasury. I have a map with an X showing where there is buried treasure.

I had a begonia plant that lived for over two years. That is, until I went out of town and forgot to make arrangements to water it. Oh, and I didn’t bother watering it afterwards when I got back. Also, I’ve allowed considerable quantities of dog excrement to accumulate in my back yard. It may have been my imagination, but I could swear my lawn looked greener the year I did a bad job of picking up after my dog…But I digress. My point is I believe I’m qualified to make an excellent Sec. of Agriculture.

For well over twenty-four hours, my wife was actually in labor.

I travel a lot and often use our national transportation infrastructure. I critique it often so I should be a shoe-in for Sec. of Transportation.

I could be Secretary of State. I’ve been to 30 of our 50 states.

Secretary of Labor would work for me as well. I’ve given birth.

I grew an avocado plant from a seed once. Secretary of Agriculture for me, if you please!

I’ve flown in planes, ridden in cars, buses, and trains, not to mention piloting boats. Oh, and I’ve also jumped over stuff, like boxes. Secretary of Transportation, that’s me!

I’m a scientist, so I’ll take Secretary of Energy, since no one has spoken for that yet. Does anyone know what the pay is?

In my misspent youth, I was massively into the board game Risk.

SecDef is far too weenie for me.

I want to go retro - Secretary of WAR!!!

I’m hoping my boss doesn’t die or resign. VP for me.

Regards,
Shodan

They pay you in CURRENTcy.

Cuz it’s the Secretary of Energy.

Like electricity.

I’m very opinionated. It’s not a cabinet post but it makes me qualified to be the White House Press Secretary.

Actually 40: 30 is the number of states I’ve visited (which I count differently). But perhaps I’ve only been to 30 states if you subtract ones that are “really” Commonwealths etc.

What I’m trying to figure out is which of the presidential appointments would be the most fun. Which has the fewest actual duties, but offers the most opportunity to eat and live well.

Perhaps Treasurer of the United States? She doesn’t seem to do too much.

My grandparents were immigrants, I took French and Spanish in high school and I visited Scotland once, so I’m worldly enough to be Ambassador to the United Nations.

As long as I don’t have to hobnob with anyone from those funny little countries.

But think of how sore your wrist must become from signing all those bills.

None of you get the job. These days the politically correct term is “Administrative Assistant”. Guess that makes me the AA of Education.
