I buy Clove by the case when it makes its irregular appearances on the market. Loved it since I was a kid. It’s the only gum with sugar I’ll regularly chew. (I’ll also make the occasional buy of Teaberry, Beemans, and Pepsin.)
The other two gums I regularly chew weren’t on your list:
5- Cobalt (a pepperminty gum that’s not as strong as most peppermint gums)
Orbit- Wintermint (wintergreen)
Both are sugarfree and come in pocket-friendly flat packs. I prefer 5 because the sticks are foil-wrapped, and stand up to moisture and heat better.
Juicy Fruit is my favorite gum. Big Red 2nd choice. 3rd would be a bubble gum; I choose Bazooka Joe from your poll. I always read the cartoon with Bazooka Joe.
As a kid, I loved those bubble gum sticks. They were about the size of an ink pen around and about eight inches long. I recall bubble gum & sour apple as the two flavors store carried. I haven’t seem them for sale in at least 20 years.
You’ve mostly posted brands, not flavors. Dentyne, Trident, Eclipse, etc. all come in multiple flavors.
My favorite flavors are: Wrigleys EXTRA Spearmint, Hubba Bubba’s Original Bubblegum flavor (which I can only find now in the “Bubble Tape” version ), and Trident’s Cinnamon.
Bazooka and Dubble Bubble 'cuz I love me some cheap bubble gum (and yeah, reminds me of my childhood. I used to collect Bazooka Joe comics. I have no idea why, because I thought they were stupid even when I was a kid).
Stride, because it seems to hold onto its flavor longer than most other gums. I keep it in my car.
Honorable Mention (not on the list): those flat little pieces of bubble gum that used to come in Wacky Packages in the '70s. I mostly bought them for the stickers, of course, but the gum was pretty good in a cardboard sort of way.
You can still get those! Candy cigarettes, too. We have a place near us called Powell’s that has all sorts of candy that you’d think they haven’t made in years.
