Chester Nez, 83, one of 29 original Navajo Code Talkers, said a Navajo blessing for the Red Sox in their second home game of the season on April 10. After that the Sox won seven of their next nine games, including 3 of 4 from the NY Yankees.

As ESPN points out, it’s now the Yankees who are cursed! It’s a 4yr old curse and getting nasty. Since their last WS win, they’ve been bested by an expansion team and 3 wild cards!
