I don’t get it. I saw a car with the back window covered in similar bumper stickers. Is it to protest the rigidity of Catholicism? Religion in general? (Or, are you really worshipping trees, etc?) Maybe it’s a Tolkien thing? I’m not religious, but I was hoping the 21st century brought us out of the Stone Age of mythology.
That’s right…tear down every positive influence left in our society. God forbid kids might strive to be something more than Bart Simpson…and gain some self-esteem and self-respect in this depraved world.
Put down the joystick, turn off the TV, and stop rebelling against society just because life demands you to exert yourself in order to succeed. We’ve all had it tough, baby, so don’t think you deserve some kind of special treatment. Go pound the pavement and earn a living instead of sponging of your parents or some significant other. That’s life, dude. You can do it if you try! And the best part is (big secret here) you don’t even have to be an honor’s student!, ok?
