What Classical Piece Is In This Ad?

Epson is running radio ads for their printers using some classical piece of mostly violins. It sounds like a part of the Four Seasons, but I don’t think so. Along these lines, it almost sounds like a part of Pachabelle’s Canon (sp?). Anyone know? Thanks for trying for me! - Jinx

P.S. I’d hum it, but I guess that won’t help me much here, huh?

You don’t happen to know where we could find a sound clip? Or can you describe the melody at all? (Note names, or something more about it?)

Hmm…don’t know how to search for a sound clip when I don’t know the name or composer of this piece! And sorry, I can’t describe the melody any further than a nice “strings” piece.

I could spell it out as "yeet, deet-deet-deet, deet-deet-deet, deet-dit-deetle-deetle-deet, deet-deet-deet, deet-deet-deet, deet-dit-deetle-deetle-deet… (It sounds like two violins kinda complementing each other. You could say one is mimickng the other, but not note-for-note. And, the two violins I hear are playing virtually simultaneously (barring a rest or so)…as opposed to sounding like dualing or competing violins.

Does this help anyone?

It is Pachelbel’s canon.

You can hear it here. The part you deetled (well done!) is about one third in.
